We had an excellent stay at Ellen Ann Stud Farm and would highly recommend it. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning surroundings that made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable, easily accommodating our group of five adults and three children without ever feeling crowded. The amenities were excellent and thoughtfully provided, making our stay easy and enjoyable. It was the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time together in the countryside. We really appreciated the care that has gone into the property and would happily stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Hi, I’m your host at Ellen-Ann Stud. I spend a lot of my time around the property, so this place is something I genuinely enjoy sharing with others.

I’ve always loved the slower pace out here — fresh air, open space, and a good spot to unwind. When I’m not working, I’m usually out on the property, tinkering, or just enjoying a quiet moment outside.

Hosting for me is pretty simple — I want guests to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home. Whether you’re here for a weekend escape or just a break from the routine, this is a place to switch off and enjoy it.

Happy to point you in the right direction for local spots or just leave you to it — whatever kind of stay you’re after.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I chose this area for the mix of peaceful bushland and being close to Mudgee when you feel like getting out and about. Windeyer has that quiet, tucked-away feel — it’s a bit slower, a bit more rugged, and a great place to properly switch off.

What I enjoy most is the space and the calm. You’ve got wide open landscapes, fresh country air, and some of the best night skies around. It’s the kind of place where mornings are quiet, and evenings are perfect for sitting back with a drink and doing not much at all.

Then when you’re ready for a change of pace, Mudgee’s not far — great wineries, good food, and an easy day out before heading back to the quiet.

It’s a good balance, which is exactly why I like it out here — and why most guests end up loving it too.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What makes Ellen-Ann Stud unique is the space, privacy, and genuine country feel you don’t always get with other stays. It’s not just somewhere to sleep — it’s a place where you can properly switch off and enjoy the surroundings.

Set out near Windeyer, you’re surrounded by open land, fresh air, and quiet — just that peaceful bush and farmland atmosphere. The property has a bit of character to it as well, which makes it feel more personal and less like a standard accommodation.

You can spend your time doing as much or as little as you like — whether that’s sitting outside with a drink, taking in the views, or heading into Mudgee for wineries and food before coming back to the calm.

It’s simple, relaxed, and private — and that’s what most people end up appreciating the most.
