Escape to your own private corner of Red River Gorge at The Willow. Tucked away in the woods with no neighboring cabins, this peaceful retreat gives you the seclusion you came to the Gorge for—while keeping you close to the area’s best adventures.

Spend your days hiking, exploring the DBBB and Hollerwood, visiting Natural Bridge or discovering local favorites, then come home to quiet evenings around the fire.

Inside, you’ll find a comfortable, welcoming space designed for slowing down and settling in. With a king bed, queen bed, full kitchen and everything you need for an easy stay, The Willow is a great fit for couples, friends or a small family.

No shared property. No cabins next door. Just your own little getaway in the Gorge.

We had a great week exploring Red River Gorge with the cabin being a perfect basecamp for our family of 5! Any questions were quickly answered and communication was great with the host. The sound of rain on the metal roof was wonderful as we sipped coffee on the front porch, with singing birds and bright blue-tailed skinks about. The well-equipped cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and keep all bellies full after long hikes! Thank you!

Cabin was very cozy and a comfortable place to hang out at the end of the day. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything you would need to prepare food. Great indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. Firewood provided. Great stay. Be prepared to enjoy the scenery as you wind up amd down the hills to the cabin. Great drive to enjoy the view of the beauty Eastern Kentucky has to offer.

Beautiful SECLUDED cabin!! We’re blessed to have been able to celebrate our anniversary for some much appreciated rest and relaxation. The cabin is well stocked and easily allows for home away from home! Clean, electric fireplace and thoughtful host are only the tip of the long list of perks here. While there enjoyed the locals hospitality while visiting the Daniel Boone National Forrest Visitor center, the Brick Ice Cream & Coffee, and the Turtlecreek Hamdmade Pottery. Hiking is right up the bend for a wonderful nature experience. Will definitely be back!

Communication from the host was phenomenal. The cabin was very clean, nicely decorated and very secluded and quiet. Perfect little cabin for a weekend getaway to get away from it all. We were less than 30 mins from Natural Bridge Rd in Slade which is where our event was located for the weekend. Beautiful scenery and all the nature that you could want. Note that it’s located on a one lane rd and passing other cars/trucks can be challenging in spots because there are several places along the rd that you cannot drop off on either side to pass. I’ve saved this cabin in my favorites for future visits and would highly recommend it to others.

Wonderful experience

The cabin was very cute, clean and well stocked, as advertised. We felt that we had privacy and the owner was quick to check in with us to make sure we were satisfied. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Cute and cozy

I had rented this cabin for two nights, shortly after arriving, I was already reaching out to try and stay a third night. The host was great, the cabin was perfect. I will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful secluded getaway.

Cabin was beautifully decorated and very clean. It was wonderfully peaceful and secluded. The only sounds to listen to were the birds singing and the bull frogs croaking in the small pond down the hill from the cabin. A great place to get away from everything.

Short Getaway

Loved the cabin! Beautifully decorated and had everything needed. Secluded and close to nature. Really loved the personal touches of popcorn and s’mores! Easy check in and check out. Had a great time unwinding!

Peaceful Cabin in the Woods

My daughter and I stayed at this very clean and super cute property while visiting RRG. It was such a peaceful setting and had everything you need to feel right at home. The cabin is off the beaten path, which is something we were looking for, so prepare to drive a bit if you are planning on visiting Natural Bridge and the other local attractions. We had a great stay and hope to return!

Secluded cabin

We stayed four nights at this cabin in the Red River Gorge area. The pictures accurately depict the property and the host was helpful with anything we needed. The cabin was well equipped and decorated nicely. Pick up groceries before your arrival as the winding roads make for a longer trip to the store.

Great cabin stay

We had a lovely time in the cabin! It was cute, clean, and well-maintained. Our host was friendly and responsive to any questions we had. It’s tucked in the woods, away from distractions, but includes reliable wi-fi and streaming options. There’s a fire pit as well. It was the perfect mix of relaxing with the technology to do a little work if you are so inclined!

Secluded get away... worth the trek!

This cabin is a retreat! Hammocks in the trees and on the porch... so peaceful! It is secluded, so nowhere is quick to get to, so plan accordingly! Lots of things to do & eat, but lots of things are closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, so check that out ahead of time. The owners are super quick to respond to any questions, so helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Awesome family friendly cabin!

We had a great weekend at Red River Gorge. This was the perfect spot for me and my 2 kids. We had never been here before so did not know what to expect. We got a little confused about the directions but our host was very quick to respond and helped us get there safely. The cabin itself was clean, scenic and comfortable. Only about a 25 minute drive to the state park and attractions. Games and ping pong table were an added bonus for the kids. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. 👍👍

The Willow is a private cabin surrounded by nature. You won’t have neighboring rental cabins or shared guest areas, but you may have some of the usual visitors that come with staying in the Kentucky woods—deer, birds, insects and other wildlife.

Mountain roads and rural surroundings are part of the Red River Gorge experience. We recommend arriving before dark when possible if you’re unfamiliar with the area.

Please respect the property and surrounding land, and remember that no indoor smoking, parties or undisclosed pets are permitted.
