Being in a wooded area can sometimes bring seasonal pest activity, but that’s definitely something we stay proactive about. As for the water, many cabins in the Gorge use treated well water, which can occasionally have a distinct smell — but it’s safe and regularly maintained. We truly appreciate you staying with us and hope we can host you again for an even better experience next time! 🌲🏡✨

We’re glad you thought the cabin itself was cute, but we’re truly sorry to hear about the cleanliness concerns and the issue with ants during your stay. That’s definitely not the experience we want for our guests. We’ll be sharing this with our housekeeping and pest control teams so it can be addressed right away. Being in a wooded area can occasionally bring seasonal pest activity, but the cabin should absolutely be properly cleaned and prepared before arrival.
