STR-25-00077 Completely renovated 4 season cottage set in the heart of the Highlands! Very secluded and private but only 10 minutes to the vibrant Village of Haliburton where you can enjoy cute shops, lovely restaurants and all the perks and amenities of being close to town. 20 minutes to Sir Sam's Ski resort, Winterdance dog sledding and the Wolf Sanctuary. Close to Haliburton Forest, snowmobile trails, snowshoe and cross country ski trails. Great hiking, biking, swimming, kyaking, boating and fishing. Santa's Village is 1 hour away. Or just kick back and enjoy the beauty of the property and amazing views from the dock, the outdoor fire pit or the cozy nook. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub as you take in the scenery. Play some pool or boardgames in the games room and watch your favorite movie on the big screen tv.

Our family of 5 loved the Treehouse. Accommodations were more than adequate, Christine anticipated any traveller needs and some extras! The location was ideal with a beautiful clean lake, ample fishing and amazing scenery.

Really sweet cottage! Weather was great so we spent a lot of time outside but the cottage has plenty to do if you are stuck inside! Clean, well stocked and nice easy, open spaces.

Christine is an excellent host with excellent communication. She checked in with us during the week to make sure our stay was going well. The cottage is beautiful, spacious and well-appointed. Our family particularly enjoyed the pool table and the paddle board. The lake near this property is shallow which meant the water was warm for swimming. I will say that it isn’t suited for anyone with mobility issues as the lot is very steep with a lot of stairs to the lake and a short, steep walk between the parking area and the cottage (unless you have 4WD), but if you’re okay with a little bit of exercise this is a lovely cottage rental and good value for the price.

We visited this stunning cottage in the winter for Family Day weekend. We could not have been happier. The views of the icy lake are incredible — lots of deer wandering over the ice and through the trees. Snowshoes are available for hikes across the ice. The amenities in the cottage are of good quality and up to date. The furnishings are cozy and stylish. The owner has meticulously posted notes throughout, so there is no confusion over how to work everything. The water fireplace, hot tub and pool table were huge hits. Lastly, the owner is extremely accommodating and helpful.

What a lovely cottage with room to spread out both indoors and out. Our family of 6 really enjoyed the lakefront toys, the hot tub, the pool table, and despite a rainy weekend, we had a serene view of the lake over rainfall while playing board games. The cottage is also very well stocked with kitchen supplies, spices, condiments, Keurig coffee pods, etc. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!
