Hello! I’m Hai, a criminologist, university lecturer, and passionate marathon runner based here in peaceful Graceville, Brisbane.

I’ve spent many years studying and teaching about people, society, and community — and hosting is one of the most rewarding ways to bring those ideas to life. I truly enjoy meeting guests from around the world, hearing their stories, and helping them feel at home during their travels.

Outside the classroom, you’ll often find me on the river paths around Graceville, training for upcoming races or taking part as a pacer in Brisbane’s marathon festivals. Running helps me stay active, centred, and connected to the local community — and I’m always happy to share my favourite routes (or even join you for a light jog!).

As a host, my goal is simple: to create a calm, clean, and welcoming space where you can relax, recharge, and experience local life at your own pace. Whether you’re visiting for work, study, or a well-earned break, I’ll do my best to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

- 3 large bedrooms, each with queen beds, fresh linen, and a light ceiling fan.

- A bright living room with comfortable seating and leafy street views.

- A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances (fridge, oven, microwave, and cooking essentials).

- Dedicated study/work areas, ideal for guests working remotely or studying during their stay.

- 1 modern bathroom with shower, toiletries, and fluffy towels, and 1 separate toilet.

- A spacious downstairs area (under the main Queenslander floor), perfect for early luggage storage or additional recreation space.

- The house retains its classic high ceilings, polished timber floors covered by hybrid materials, and open verandas that capture the breeze — hallmarks of the Queenslander style.

🌿 Guest Access

Guests have full access to the entire upper level of the home and the private ground-floor storage area.
You’ll enjoy complete privacy during your stay, with easy self-check-in and contactless access if preferred.
Off-street parking is available in the driveway, with additional free parking along Graceville Avenue.
