We loved the home and all the different rooms it was so spacious and clean in the house,, we loved how the host had things like amenities and dishes for us to use while we was there. I think our stay overall was 10/10 everything was good before we got there and when we left thank you guys so much !!

No Hot Water

Checked in to a very nice house. There were a few housekeeping issues: Pizza boxes left in the garage from prior guests and terrible smelling trash in the laundry area. We all came from out of town for the Chiefs game. The evening we checked in we discovered that there was no hot water. Our property contact responded quickly when we reached out. We were given access to the water heater. We lit the heater and went to dinner. When we arrived later that evening, we discovered that there was still no hot water. Apparently, when the heater was lit it used the last of the gas in the line. My husband went out to check the meter. He discovered that the gas meter had a boot on it. The gas had been turned off. I sent photos to the property contact and discussed what our options were. She indicated that we could get a refund and find another place to stay or agree to a partial refund and stay at the property. By this time, it was going on 9:30 p.m. Finding another place to accommodate our large party was an impossible option at that late hour. The gas company came out to check for leaks at around 10:00 p.m. It all ran into our visiting time together. We accepted the partial refund for lack of a better solution. Took cold showers. We really thought we should have been compensated at a higher rate for all of the inconvenience. How does a property list for rent when the gas has been shut off?

When we entered the house, there wad sawdust and dry leaves in the livingroom and kitchen. There was visible dirt on the steps going up to the bedrooms and diwn to the basement. The light at the front door did not work and was reported riggt away. No one came to look at it. The yard was completed covered with leaves and was very messy. With the amount if money that we paid, I was not happy with the condition of the property. We cleaned and left it cleaner than when we arrived.
