Welcome to Stay at Shiraz Pokolbin – a luxury designer retreat set on our 5-acre Shiraz vineyard within La Vigna Estate. This spacious 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home offers the perfect blend of elegance and comfort, complete with your own private 10-metre pool and sweeping vineyard views.



Two bedrooms feature a king bed (convertible to singles) and a large en-suite, and three bedrooms feature a Queen bed and 2.5 bathrooms.



Ducted air-conditioning throughout, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen make Stay at Shiraz ideal for families, couples, or groups exploring the Hunter Valley.

Bedding configuration:

2 king beds can be split into singles (minimum 5 days’ notice required for linen arrangements).

All linen and towels are included in the cleaning fee. Beds are made up with crisp white linen and bath towels are provided.



🍷 Weddings and events

Stay at Shiraz sits on the La Vigna Estate Vineyard. While the estate can host weddings, Airbnb bookings are for accommodation only. For event or wedding enquiries, please find La Vigna Estate online directly.



🚗 Parking

Plenty of free parking is available for multiple vehicles. If you plan to do a wine tour before check-in, please ask where cars can be safely left.



🌿 Outdoor living

Enjoy the gas BBQ, large dining setting, and stunning vineyard outlook. The pool flows directly from the outdoor entertaining area — perfect for relaxing afternoons.

Free NBN Wi-Fi is provided (password available on the modem).

🍇 Local vineyards and transport

We’re only minutes from many of the Hunter Valley’s best wineries. Rover Coaches can collect guests directly from the estate for concert or event transfers — please check schedules with Rover Coaches in advance.



🚫 Parties and noise

Please note:

- No parties, bucks groups, loud gatherings, or external guests.

- Maximum 10 adults permitted.

- No bands or speakers – we have other homes on the property and appreciate respect for all guests.



Other Things to Note:

🔥 Fires & Firewood: Indoor wood fireplaces are available only from the end of the NSW Easter School Holidays until the start of the NSW September School Holidays, in accordance with state fire restrictions. We generally provide enough firewood, kindling, and fire-starters for one night of your stay. If you’d like to enjoy additional fires, we recommend bringing your own supplies or purchase online via your boarding pass.



🏊‍♀️ Pools: Pools will be opened for swimming for the start of the NSW September School Holidays and closed and Winterised immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays have been completed.
