Welcome to Seeside Cottage — a bright, beach-side cottage in central Bargara, just 100m from cafés and a short stroll to the beach. Recently renovated, sleeps 6, pet-friendly and ideally placed for everything Bargara, Bundaberg and Mon Repos Turtle Centre have to offer.

Such a great location just one block behind the Bargara seafront. It is a lovely beach cottage, with its fresh and lovely decor, and fully equipped modern kitchen. We spent a wonderful week and appreciated having our dog with us, doing lots of walks, swimming at the beach and sampling the menus of the local cafes and restaurants - inbetween siestas and sitting on the deck sipping something cool. We are already talking about booking again.

If you are looking for a clean, all your need property that was exceptional pet friendly this is the place. Convenient take away shops walking distance including Ricks coffee shop (excellent value for money breaky). We bought a lovely coffee and walked across the road to watch lovely sunset. Brittany was exceptionally quick with cominication and nothing was too much trouble. This is my new go-to place near Bundaberg.

Central Bargara has a special kind of ease to it — and that’s exactly why I chose it.
I wanted Seeside Cottage to be somewhere guests could truly slow down, park the car, and just be. Central Bargara offers that rare balance of convenience and calm. Everything you need is within easy walking distance — the beach, cafés, parks, the esplanade, playgrounds and local shops — yet it still feels relaxed and uncrowded.
As locals, this is how we experience Bargara ourselves. Morning walks along the foreshore, coffee from a favourite café, afternoons at the beach, and evenings where everything is close enough to wander home without planning or rushing. That simple, coastal rhythm is something I wanted guests to enjoy too.
Central Bargara is also incredibly family-friendly while still being perfect for couples. It’s flat, walkable, safe and welcoming, making it easy for all ages to explore and feel comfortable. Whether you’re visiting for a beach holiday, a quiet reset, or to explore the wider Bundaberg region, it’s a location that just works.
Choosing central Bargara was about creating an experience, not just a stay. It allows guests to connect with the lifestyle, the community, and the slower pace that makes this part of the coast so special.
