With 27.2m of absolute ocean frontage, behind your white picket fence you'll feel instantly relaxed and at ease in this 1960's humble beach cottage.
A perfect place to kick off the shoes, feel at ease & and spend your holiday barefoot and chilled. Like a beach holiday used to be!
Great for families & pet lovers & has an additional TV & Bean bags in the garage/rumpus room for big groups.

The backyard is not fenced but it would take an adventurous dog to try and escape.

A Great Find

The beach house was ideal for us. The ocean view is priceless. The sound of the waves was soothing. I don’t think we’d ever tire of being this close to the ocean. The house was well equipped and comfortable. We loved the grassy backyard. My 14 year old labrador was very much at home. It did rain but the large glass doors meant we still were able to enjoy the view.

Where to start? The house and view was perfect for really taking time out of the rut we call daily life. But what made our stay stress free was our amazing hosts, Emily and Azza. We cannot thankyou enough, it was worth the trip from WA. 🙃 kindest regards Kylie

We enjoyed our stay. Communication with the owners was excellent and the home was as listed. There are not many dog-friendly rentals, so we were thrilled to find this. However, I had some unmet expectations (of my own making, the advertised listing was honest). So just for future holiday-makers. Ocean-front does NOT mean beach-front. The shoreline is very rocky and the water is not accessible. Beaches are a good 10-15 min walk away. The home itself is old and rather run down. At the price I did expect something a bit more up-market. I guess the cost is in the location. The large glass fronted living area faces east - so lovely sea-views but hellishly hot in the morning, even with a/c. There is no adequate shade protection in the living areas. We put up 2 umbrellas outside, but it wasn't really adequate.

Enchanting beach get-away

This property did not disappoint! We were thrilled with the view, loved the amenities (patio furniture on both decks and a gas bbq) and were very content with the bedrooms and overall layout. Every where we looked, we were enchanted with the furnishings, the finishes, and the open, airy, large rooms! Two of the bedrooms face the ocean and two face the road. The master has its own small 3 piece bathroom and then the other bathroom is huge. There is a bonus toilet out in the laundry room. There is also a second fridge in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, tinfoil, olive oil, cooking spray and condiments in the fridge. The owner even left us a bottle of wine, a bag of chips and a container of pancake batter. We loved this location so much we took pictures daily trying to capture the sea, waves and shore in each light. Sunrise is particularly beautiful. Sitting on the deck on their lovely furniture, eating charcuterie and sipping wine is a favorite memory as is lying on the bed midafternoon in the master bedroom with the windows open enjoying the sounds of the crashing waves and the warm winds blowing in. We will never forget this pre-Christmas get away and hope to get back there someday!
