The house is in a poor area, when you get there it's not inviting at all, you don't want to do anything outside. There isn't anything for children like plate or glasses, ( not a place for kids at all) missing a lot of cooking equipment and utensils. There is only 2 bed in the house the office where there is suppose to be another bed was locked and the couch you can't sleep on it it's really not comfortable. Be careful in the stairs they are small and on is not straight I fell twice on that one. Forgetting that in was a bad renovation, renovation are diy and not well done. A lot of the equipment and stuff in the house are second hand or really outdated. We had no issues with the host when we needed him to go get stuff that was missing in the house until we got an issues and needed to call the cops then it has been radio silence since then. In the area violent crime rate are 48% higher then other area keep that in mind, we had to leave because people started coming over to see if people where living there and trying to check inside the house. I wasn't going to stay there with my kids and terrorise them if some one brake in or violence occured during the night or day while we where there. So sorry to say spend a little bit more and go somewhere else.

While responding to claims of this nature is not our standard practice, we believe it is necessary to clarify the facts regarding the property's condition and the service provided. Regarding guest requests and amenities: - The day after arrival, the guest requested two additional cooling fans, toilet paper, shampoo, and a bottle opener. Although the house was already stocked with three fans, ten rolls of toilet paper, and two bottles of shampoo, we promptly delivered all requested items the following morning. - Kitchen Utensils: The kitchen is fully equipped for guests and contains three pots, two frying pans, and more than ten sets of plates, spoons, forks, glasses, and cups. - Accommodations: As advertised, the property is a two-bedroom house featuring two comfortable queen beds, intended for a maximum of four guests. We do not advertise additional bedrooms or sleeping arrangements. - Property Condition: The property has been recently fully renovated, with furniture sourced from major retailers like Ikea. The staircases are built to standard, and we cannot speak to any personal health factors that may have caused the guest to trip. Regarding the location and safety: - Location: The property is near downtown Calgary, making it a popular and convenient choice for travelers. Calgary is consistently rated as one of the safest cities in North America, and the neighborhood is entirely safe.-The house has a large front patio and other children playground in the Estate..

There is nothing really wrong with the unit and my review afterward would’ve been fine under other circumstances. After the initial bumps, the remainder of our day was unremarkable and no big deal.However, when we arrived after midnight, our door code did not work and the owner would not respond by email or phone. We had to get on the phone with VRBO customer service and were on the phone with them until 2:30 in the morning, then after hours on the phone, sending videos of us putting in the door code back-and-forth, they told us to just go book our own hotel. It turns out that the owner had sent us a code that was in my junk mail, but ALSO sent us an incorrect code, and in our VRBO messages it was the same incorrect code. When we called VRBO they too had the same incorrect code.We were able to get in the next morning once the owner responded, but when we got inside, there were less beds than the listing said, and we definitely were counting on every bed in there. In response to this, they sent an employee to set up an air mattress, and when he came, he just threw it on the floor and then left.Like I said, without the first two issues the stay would’ve been just fine! It was clean enough, price was better than others, location a little bit sketchy but no big. Maybe just make sure you have the right door code and don’t expect to sleep six people there!
