It was a lot of fun!! Game room was great and it fit our big family perfectly. There’s tons of seats, tables, etc to sit outside and enjoy! Beds were super comfortable! My only complaint is that it definitely wasn’t cleaned well before we came. There was random stuff left everywhere and I went to get my kids paci from underneath the couch cause it fell and it had food and stuff from the last guests.

Beautiful Lake House

Beautiful lake house very well appointed and true to the online post description. Very much appreciated the extras such as coffee, pods creamer, and sweetener since our group completely forgot those things. Would absolutely visit again.

Relaxing and fishing

There was ten people in our party, but the property could easily accommodate six more. The different sitting areas made it easy to spread around. The lift was very helpful for getting the luggage up. Great place if you want to get away from it all, but still have the comforts of home.

Our family and some close friends booked this home for our fishing trip, Absolutely beautiful home, stunning views, we absolutely loved this home! Highly recommend this home to everyone! You will not be disappointed!

Weekend with family

We had a great time with my the grandchildren and family. We tubed on the lake and made lots of memories. This home was just what we were looking for. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 9. I especially loved the outdoor area where we cooked and played the provided games.

Family reunion trip

Property was in good clean condition. Check in was simple. Property owner was quick to respond. Comfortably fit our entire family of 13. Nice quiet location. Only issue would be the proximity to the places we wanted to visit, but that’s on me. Got stuck at the swing bridges for 20+ minutes multiple times.

Gorgeous Lakeview Property

The house was perfect for my and my extended families' get together. The outdoor amenities for entertaining would have been used, but the weather and cool temperature was not comfortable so we stayed inside; however, the large kitchen island and two dining areas allowed us to enjoy our meals together as a large family of eighteen adults without feeling cramped. There was plenty of seating and the large tv in the open concept living room allowed us to play games together as a large family and no one was excluded from participating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

SAFETY ISSUES -TV plug in main living is faulty - would not pass a fire marshal inspection, dangerous for children -odd plug in master closet, dangerous for children because wire was exposed -flooring in breezeway caving in CLEANLINESS -dirty bath mats upon arrival -NO towels in master -minimal towels in other bathrooms….agreement stated there would be enough for every person -ants in secondary section bathroom -sewerage smell in secondary section bathroom -only 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom - not enough for a 5 day stay -towels/washcloths provided were sized for a child -outdoor areas (tables, chairs, doorways) all had mold -a hole in the ground in the backyard, dangerous for children

Amazing

The home is beautiful. The inside was clean and just immaculate. The outside because of the birds and such was dried bird poop everywhere. We didn't get to fish or crab but that was okay. Our family loved the house. It was so spacious that every one had their own space without over crowding each other. The gameroom was nice but it is left open so that was a little scary. The layout in the listing needs to be updated. The master king suite is gorgeous with a beautiful bathroom and bed is confortable. The office has a day bed that's it, very small with tv, it was perfect for our daughter. It is right outside the master. There is a queen room and a two bunkbed room (4 beds) that share a hall bathroom. Then there is what looks like an apartment size space wth a queen bed with a daybed in there and a jack and jill bathroom to a two twin bed room. This space is nice for a family because it has a kitchenette and small sitting area away from the main part of the house. The living room is gorgeous and the kitchen is beautiful. There are tvs in every room. The balconies on this house allows for aome amazing views. The kids loved riding the golf cart and 4 wheeler around. The neighbors are not nice people. I do believe it is because we were an African American family in a predominantly Caucasian neighborhood. They called the police because of the kids riding the 4 wheeler and golf cart. The kids were not doing anything wrong but they didn't want them riding down the street.

Family vacation

6 adults 3 children 2 boats.The GOOD. The house was beautiful. It was very modern and updated. The view of the lake was great and the room to spread out and do other things was wonderful. The ability to work on boats and have the boat lift was a great plus. The elevator for getting all our luggage up to the 2nd floor was amazing. The balcony on the back of the house overlooking the canal was wonderful and had great seating options. The AC worked very well. All the rooms had enough space for our group, and the office to get some work done was nice. The BAD. All but the ping pong table in the game room was broken. This put a stain on the vacation as we were expecting to be able to have the kids play in the game room. The coffee pot had an entire ecosystem in it. It had not been cleaned or emptied of the grounds in a long time. The boat lift straps were disconnected from one side and thrown in the mud took us a while to get it straight. The boat lift is a little sketchy, we put a John boat in it, wouldn't recommend anything heavier. The Mako we left in the water on the canal. The BBQ grill was rusted out and missing parts. The ad said there were kayaks, there were no kayaks (I even talked to the person at the company that maintains the house and he said there are not any kayaks).Conclusion.Overall, the house was amazing. We had a great time and loved the time we spent there. We will be booking here again. Next time we have a better idea of what to expect. We have alread

Beautiful Home Awful Community

The home was beautiful and spacious, however, the home is advertised like it’s this wonderful fishing adventure. It sleeps 18 people and there was a total of 6 washcloths and towels in the place.(there were 12 of us!) I didn’t go on vacation to do laundry everyday! There were no dish clothes and a total of 4 trash bags and we rented this place for 5 days and 4 nights for a lot of money! No kayaks as advertised, lift was broken. We live in Louisiana and have been fishing and crabbing in Cameron parish many times but this will be the last. The community surrounding the house was very uninviting and the people were not hospitable AT ALL. we had 4 young children with us and tried fishing on the canal that was touted in this listing, it was full of alligator gar and no fish or crabs. Tried to crab after the ‘4 minute’ walk to the lake and that was such false advertising. Yes, you could walk to the lake and that was IT! There were people watching all the grass by the lake to let you know real quick it was all private property and you could not fish there despite the fact it was no where NEAR THE HOUSE. We met one kind person and he told us to let the community know that we were guests of his to allow our small grandchildren to fish, well, no one cared that a family was trying to get together and make memories, they refused to even allow a 4, 3 and 2 year old to fish! We have traveled all over the country and out of the country but had the worst experience in our own STATE!

The house is nice. There are a few things that were not very good. Several of the outside chairs were broken. The boat lift dropped in the middle of the night causing the boat to come. Out of the slip luckily we heard it bounce off the far bulk head and we grappled it. The kitchen utinsels was lackin. One toilet was clogged and the repair man did not show up till late our second day. Other than that the house was excellent.

Beautiful property! We, along with our children and grandchildren had a great time. The game room was a hit! The place was clean, large open space gave us plenty of room, didn’t feel like we were on top if each other. The layout was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone considering the area.

Advertised as Bring your boat!The boat lift controls were above our head approximately 8 feet and no way to access. The property manager didn’t have a clue where the controls were.He said a person would be out to check on the issue, but no one came.Our boat was in the water until the neighbor came over with an 8 foot ladder so we could reach the switch.Upon entering the home which was very nice, we opened the refrigerator to put our groceries in and it smelled of shrimp or crawfish. The smell remained through our stay.Live ants were in the kitchen counter.The water heater or heaters were apparently malfunctioning. My two grandchildren took cold showers for three days.Spider webs in the master bathroom.The fish cleaning table was full of fish scales and the picnic table was filthy.The window over the sink was almost to the point you couldn’t see thru.The propane grill outdoors was so greasy and inoperative.The grill was literally rusted thru.EMPTY PROPANE BOTTLE.The owner was contacted, but only seemed to try and mitigate his problems.In all fairness, I can say that the manager was somewhat empathetic to the condition . The owner: Bill has yet to contact us about any kind of solution to the issues that were present .No refund or partial refund.Please know that you will not find a review by me in the past places stayed that will reflect my disappointment as deeply.I have worked hard all my life and believe in benefit of doubt. I have pics if you need.
