The Space:

Step into a light-filled retreat within The Lakes Resort, where relaxed resort living meets the comforts of home. The open-plan living area offers an easy place to unwind. Watch a movie on the TV with Netflix or enjoy a quiet read in the refreshing cool of the split system air conditioning.



The kitchen supports effortless home cooking, featuring modern appliances including a fridge, oven, dishwasher, gas cooktop, and a Nespresso machine. The dining area for four invites shared meals with friends. After dining, move to the private balcony with a bistro setting for two, the perfect spot to savour warm tropical evenings.



The bathroom offers a shower over bath, double sinks and complimentary toiletries for added comfort. The spa bath adds a touch of indulgence, with jets that help you recharge after walks, reef adventures or days spent exploring. A private laundry with a washer and dryer provides convenience for extended visits.



Outside, the resort opens into expansive, lushly landscaped gardens that invite you to wander, relax and explore. Enjoy four swimming pools, including a lap pool and a spa pool, along with complimentary BBQ areas, a toddler playground, a fully equipped gym, a tennis court that can be lit for evening games and a basketball hoop court. Mackenzie’s Café and Bar offers easy meals within the resort, and the Cairns Botanic Gardens sit along the resort’s edge, putting nature steps away.



Please note that this apartment is located on the second level with stair access only, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility considerations. While there is no on-site parking available, ample street parking can be found nearby.



Guest Access:

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire apartment to yourselves, with shared access to the resort facilities. Please make yourselves at home!



The Neighborhood:

Set between the Cairns Botanic Gardens and the Esplanade, this pocket of Cairns North invites you into a neighbourhood shaped by leafy trails, relaxed cafés and coastal energy. Start the day with an easy stroll to Taste of Thai or Ocean World Seafood Market for something simple and satisfying. Wander through the Botanic Gardens nearby for quiet moments among tropical plants, then follow the curve of Collins Avenue to discover favourites such as Guerilla Cairns, Ozmosis Café, NOA and the Botanic Gardens Café. The Esplanade’s walking paths are only minutes away, ideal for sunrise strolls or breezy evening walks. Buses run often along Sheridan Street, offering an easy way to reach the city and the marina. Cairns Airport is a short five-minute drive from your door for effortless arrivals and departures.
