The unit itself was nice. Good location, clean and spacious. But I will never rent from Shoreline properties again. Ever. Horrible communication poor customer service.I received several emails from Shoreline properties leading up to check-in, offering early check-in for a fee. I replied via email twice asking if I could add this but no response. I then sent a message through VRBO and received no response. The day of check-in, I received a text from them and replied asking for early check-in and still no response. Normal check-in was 3. We showed up a few minutes after 2 to check in. We were greeted by a rude woman who was extremely annoyed by our presence. She asked "What can I help you with? I don't have any early check-ins on my list today." I started to say "Yes, I know we're a little early but I actually requested early check-in several times but never got a response." She then cut me off mid-sentence said "Sorry about that but, no, check-in is 3 so you'll have to come back then."Came back at 3. The woman was a little nicer, probably b/c there was another woman there. Checked in, went to the unit, garage code didn't work. Someone who owned a unit there had to let us in from the inside. Door code to unit didn't work. Called Shoreline, spoke w/ same rude woman who gaslighted me into thinking I was doing it wrong. Told me to wait 30 min. Didn't work. Called back, spoke to other woman who said they have issues all the time w/ door codes reset it.
