Thanks for the stay — the location is excellent and was definitely the highlight.However, as this is listed and priced as a premium accommodation, there were quite a few gaps that made it feel below that standard.The booking process itself was quite slow (taking around 4 days to confirm)Things that were missing or need improvement:•Kitchen basics: no bin, no dustpan, no wooden chopping board•Cookware: no large pots suitable for induction, and the existing pans were very worn•Appliances: no hairdryer•Fridge: too small for a group of 8 (the downstairs fridge helped, but the main kitchen needs a larger one)•Bathrooms: all showers leaked significantly, flooding the floors — more bath mats would help•WiFi: very unreliable, (unusable) especially at night•TV: channels weren’t set up; required manual tuning to get it working•Outdoor space: seating in the front garden would make a big difference (a fire pit would be a great addition)•General upkeep: cobwebs throughout the houseOverall, there were a lot of small but important basics missing — things you would expect as standard in a premium property. With these addressed, the place has great potential given how strong the location is.
