This was our favourite spot of the entire trip. Peaceful and cozy. Andrea met us at the yurt and gave us a quick run through. The yurt was stocked with water and instantly home-y. Firewood was available on site. The river and outdoor shower were definitely a highlight. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great Experience, Awesome Location

This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside.

Baddeck river yurt getaway

This yurt was an amazing experience! It was so above and beyond what we expected! It was so cozy with the wood stove, and the kitchenette was perfect. Everything we needed for a great night was provided. There is a very nice 5 minute walk through the forest to get to the yurt, where you come out just a stones throw from the baddeck river. Beautiful location, we hope to be back as soon as possible!
