Just what we needed for our stay in Baddeck. We used it as our "home base" for our day trips to the Cabot Trail, Inverness, and many other sites in the area. Was nice to have the option of making some meals in-house. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Selkie’s Rest (Green) four nights at the end of September. It was a perfect location to explore the east side of Cape Breton and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the nightly Ceilidh Gathering in Baddeck. Selkie’s Rest is charming, quiet, spotless, and well equipped. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This was a great spot. We had been on the road for over a month and having the ability to easily unload in the finished garage area was awesome. The studio apartment was great and had everything we needed. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Everything about our stay at Selkie’s Rest was perfect, definitely Five Stars! While there, we discovered the town center of Baddeck had quite a bit to offer: Fine dining, enjoyable boat cruise, nice shops, and minutes from the Alexander Graham Bell museum.
