We had a wonderful stay at this mountain home. It's a beautiful home and extremely well stocked with supplies. The yard is very spacious and the trail down to the river is great hike for all family members. Our dog especially enjoyed it. You could not ask for a better host than Todd. We had just a couple questions for him and his responses were instantaneous and helpful.

Laid-back pleasure

This house certainly met our needs. We appreciated the comfy living room, with plenty of room for the six of us. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped. This was great, because we ate many of our meals at home. We are forever grateful for the obvious love of dogs by the owner. We did bring throws to cover all the living room furniture and lessen any dog hair problems. The outdoor gas grill was superb. The dining room table was large, and we used it for family dinners and game time. The amenities cards were so affordable, and we loved the rec center and Red Bird Golf. Very convenient location! Many thanks to Todd for providing his super comfortable home!

Sheet/towel layout and lighting

It would have been nice to have the sheets and towels folded on the bed up check-in. Overall, the house needs more and brighter light options, especially in the main room. A couple of floor lamps with dimming capability would have been very appreciated. One in the corner of the master would have been nice.

Love this Beautiful Home

I stayed along with two female Board members. We just loved the home and the quietness of the neighborhood. (We live in a noisy city!) Bed were comfortable, the decor was beautiful! Love the big black huggable bear in the office. Thank you for an awesome stay. We will come back.

Refreshing getaway !

We had a great family stay with 3 teens! The property is family friendly! We enjoyed s’mores by the fire and great walks on the trails ! Well equipped kitchen for all family needs ! Host is very easy to communicate with, however we had no issues ! Easy arrival even late at night ! Thank you for a great stay !!

Restful Weekend

We had a very enjoyable stay at Mountain Fresh! Todd is a wonderfully responsive host. The house is spacious and comfortable with special care given to all cleaning aspects. Internet worked perfectly. Even though we didn’t plan to need it, the office space came in very handy for a few hours. We had perfect early fall weather that was the icing on the cake of a great weekend!

Great location!

We had a great stay in this mountain tree house! It was confirmation and spacious, and the location in sapphire was ideal for getting in to town and still feeling like we were peacefully alone. And we saw the neighborhood bear! Very cool sighting!!

Great location, the cabin had everything we needed and then some. My family enjoyed it immensely, and Todd was very responsive and got things resolved immediately. I would advise to update your Guide as follows: the Amenities fee is now $5/day and there is no minimum, and the WIFI codes are wrong. I called Todd and he gave me the correct codes on the call. BTW I found the thermostat somewhat schizophrenic, I would set it to 72 and before I knew it, it went to 69. I couldn't break the code! All in all, I give it 5 stars.

Great Mountain House

We had a great time and stay. I stayed with my wife, three children, and a nanny. There was plenty of room for all of us, and everything was as described. The property is located in Sapphire, NC, and was very close to our other friends in the area too. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again in the future. I recommend this home to anyone looking for a long weekend in the mountains. Thank you.

Perfect

We really enjoyed this home and location. I chose it mostly because it had access (for a small fee) to the Sapphire Valley Community Center and Fairfield Lake, both if which were awesome to use. The house itself was immaculate and very well equipped. I really liked access to the extra towels and blankets if needed, which we did not, but some places only give you the bare minimum. The kitchen had everything needed to make any meals. The beds were comfortable and I liked that there were 3 bathrooms. The huge sofa meant everyone could enjoy being together in the evenings. Todd was very responsive to messages. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Amazing vacation home

We had absolutely the best time staying at Todd’s vacation home. Pictures do not do this home justice. It is very spacious for the whole family including kids and fur babies. All the beds were very comfortable, Living room was perfect for family movie night and The fire pit out back was amazing at night. Todd answered any questions I had about attractions near by. Can’t wait to stay here again

Cabin Rental

We stayed here for thanksgiving 7 adults and 5 dogs plenty of room for everyone and the dogs. Really enjoyed the stayed. I just wish there were more lights to take advantage of the bone fire outside at night. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to make a thanksgiving dinner.

ABsolutely Perfect Stay

Our family had a great weekend at this house. I have never experienced a more accommodating host from providing firewood to Smore's sticks. The host contacted us to be sure everything was going well. The house has a great layout with room for everyone. I would highly recommend this location for a relaxing stay. And our dog was welcome with open arms!

Fun in the Mountains

Great house! Great location for hikers, golfers, readers and just plain resting. Quiet and heavily treed area with lots to do in the surrounding area. Todd answered every question and promptly provided needed information.

Great stay in Sapphire!

This was our first stay at this property. We have stayed at several other properties in the Highlands and Cashiers areas in the past. We were impressed by this property, and we will certainly plan to return in the future. The house has everything you need in terms of towels, linens, cookware, laundry, etc. It is very clean. It is also very conveniently located to the grocery store and other shops, which are about 10 minutes away. If you have a chance to book a reservation at Canyon kitchen, which we did, this is the closest property we have ever stayed to that restaurant and spa. The property also comes with access to the community center, which includes a pool, a gym, access to water activities, etc. My husband enjoyed a morning swim every day for the low price of $2.00. The photos of the home are accurate. It has a very grand downstairs area with an open kitchen leading out into a large great room which leads out to the deck. There is a master with attached bath on the main, as well as a second bedroom and bathroom on the main. There is a third bathroom and third bedroom upstairs. For folks like us who unfortunately had to work a lot during our “vacation,” I feel it is important to note that the Internet works very well, as does cell service. We had consistent Internet and cell service the entire time. Communication with the owner was excellent from the time of booking through the time we arrived. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Sapphire Valley in Summer

House and property were great. Big level fire pit area. Well landscaped all aspects of yard. Great neighborhood to run or walk. Two deer greeted us in front yard one afternoon. Far enough off main road that yard quiet. House open and well appointed. Owner communication great.
