Peaceful Family Reset

The stay was wonderful! My family and I enjoyed long hikes and soaks in the hot tub was so nice! Great view from deck and all we needed in amenities!

良かった点 : チェックイン、ロケーション
Initially, we thought that we were communicating with the owner but that was not true. I am not sure with whom we were seaking but it was not the owner. The good news is this rental was all on one level, had three bedrooms and a nice kitchen. The hot tub was right outside on the deck and made for easy use. We were staying there for four weeks and needed a place with our dogs, visits from our grandchildren and peace in the mountains for us. We live in the Phoenix area and go to Big Bear for a month in the summer. We asked for a vacuum to clean the place while we were there since none was in the house and it was supplied to us in a day.Downsides: we had to remove the ants from the kitchen, fireplace and great room. Once we did, all was fine. The REFRIGERATOR FILTER was replaced by us for clean water. One of the knobs on the stove was broken. The automatic outside garage door needed a battery and never worked. The power went off at the house (it does that a great deal in Big Bear), we had to close the garage door manually and we were never able to get the garage door to close without lifting it up every time and closing it every time. We had to place chairs near the fence so our dogs would not jump the fence to the road. The fence is very short in one area. Be aware that bears love to visit the trash cans on Wed. before trash P/U on Thursday. You may wake up to the trash all over the yard. They had work done on the AC Unit but they never took away the trash from their repairs.

Thank you for staying with us and for your detailed feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the home, hot tub, and your extended stay in Big Bear. We have a local property manager who lives in the area and assists guests so we can provide quick, local support when needed. We’re sorry about the ants, as this was the first time we had experienced that issue, and it has since been resolved. The stove knob was broken by the guest immediately prior to your arrival and has also been replaced. We were unable to identify an issue with the garage door, but will have it checked again. We use the MyQ app for convenient garage access from a guest’s phone. We appreciate the feedback regarding the shorter section of fence. Big Bear wildlife can also be persistent with trash cans, so we’ve had the city inspect ours to ensure they securely lock. Thank you again for your stay and for helping us continue to improve the property!
