The accommodation
Industrial loft with typical Montreal ceilings. Ideal courtyard for eating outside (barbecue available), enjoying the sun. Very large comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. On-site parking is free. Close to the metro and all amenities, including neighborhood grocery stores, cafes and restaurants, pharmacies and the famous Jean Talon market! You will be 15 minutes from downtown by metro!
Other points to note
Well-behaved dog welcome if he/she does not climb on the bed and sofa, and cry in your absence.

Great location, exactly what we needed for a weekend trip. First floor with backyard access. Super accessible street parking. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

The property was in a great location, close to coffee shops and restaurants. The home also had a desk to use, which was handy when working. That said, we had to reach out to the host for every tiny detail, like the WiFi code and trash disposal. As visitors, we could have used a welcome guide that mentioned those details including guidelines on street parking. Things like the spices were clearly too old and the top light in the living room flickered often. The keyboard on the desk didn’t work and some handles on the drawers would come off. The property definitely needs more upkeep and care, but it worked for us given the location and the size of the apartment. It was great for two people and a dog.

The location of the apartment was great. We brought our bikes with and it was the perfect location for us. Little Italy is a great neighborhood. Easy access to lots of shops and restaurants, and groceries within walking distance. Biking around the city was effortless with the numerous bike paths/lanes everywhere. We got a parking spot for our vehicle right on the street our front our place and were able to leave it there for days. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 2 of us. The place was clean and ready for us when we got there. The only thing I wish this place had was a front porch, lawn, or balcony to sit on so I could enjoy the nice weather with a drink in my hand and take in the sites of the neighborhood. It did have a table and chairs out the back door in the alley area where I would sit and eat breakfast and have coffee but it doesn't have a good view and the neighboring restaurant ran their exhaust fan all day long and it was loud. The only other unpleasant thing was that the neighbors had their bags of trash in the side alley for days and some animals got into it overnight and spread trash all over the alley and sidewalk. That is no fault of the host, but was still an eyesore.

L'appartement, situé en rez-de-chaussée, est spacieux et dispose de toutes les commodités. La climatisation est efficace, le lit très confortable, la localisation dans la Petite Italie est très agréable avec les rues ombragées et verdoyantes. Séjour au calme avec les petits commerces aux alentours, et le marché Jean Talon pas loin.
