Come and enjoy this 1.3 acres of nature! This renovated little cottage has everything that you need to be able to enjoy your vacation.

Fully furnished kitchen, 3 bedrooms (sleeps up to 7), a large deck overlooking the lake, and a gazebo with a comfortable outdoor sectional.

You have access to 3 kayaks, paradise for fishing lovers!!!

This also includes unlimited Wi-Fi access.

There is a public beach, Rideau Ferry Yacht Club Conservation, less than 10 minutes away.

Located near Smiths Falls and Perth, it is a short drive from grocery stores, restaurants and cute little shops.

Only a one hour drive from Ottawa & Kingston and a 2 hour drive from Montreal.

This location is perfect for nature lovers!

***Please note that isn't possible to swim directly from the shore***

****The Cottage is located on a Bay so, depending on the time of the year, the water may be more shallow and/or have more aquatic plants****

Amazing Value!My family had a great time at this cottage. It was incredibly peaceful. And a great way to enjoy nature. We enjoyed kayaking and catching frogs during the day and fireflies at night. Lots of birds in the canopy of the trees. The fire pit was very much loved by the whole family.The amenities were all great too! Very large fridge and all the dishes and cooking utensils we could ever need. We definitely did not feel like we were lacking anything.The location is fantastic, we visited several locks, Perth and Smith's falls were not far at all and were both lovely. Lots of fairs and events going on during the weekend we visited it was great!Isabella the host was more than helpful throughout the whole process, communication was on point.

We greatly enjoyed our one week stay at Isabelle's cottage. The place has everything that one needs for a tranquil stay away from the daily hustle and bustle: clean, well furnished, a well-equipped kitchen, spacious deck, canopy with outdoor lounge seating, fire pit, wifi and TV, games porch ... and so on. The VRBO description warned us that this is not a spot from which to swim, but it was still a bit of a disappointment at first that the waterfront is mostly weeds and lillies. However, we quickly adjusted to the view, and loved the peace and quiet. The nearby beach at Rideau Ferry Yacht Club was surprisingly uncrowded and a great spot for swimming. Isabelle was never more than a quick dm or phone call away. Communication was excellent. Any and all identified issues (real and id-10-t) were quickly addressed. We look forward to returning next year if the cottage is available.

This property was not as described. It isn't a Fisher's paradise. It isn't possible to fish off the dock. If you didn't kayak out to the middle of the lake or pay to go to the surrounding conservation areas, you weren't able to fish at all. The dock is not properly maintained which causes safety concerns especially if children are with you. The roof in the living room leaks. Garbage from previous guests was not stored properly so animals scattered it throughout the yard (which we cleaned up). The property was overgrown. The pictures online are not current and don't reflect the actual condition of the house or the waterway. The owner is lovely and was easy to talk to Unfortunately, the pros don't outweigh the cons if your main goal is a fishing trip.

We had a pleasant stay at the cottage! We loved the big patio we spent most of our time there!!The only thing we were disappointed about was the tv...we did not know we needed a Netflix account to be able to watch something!

Myself, wife and 2 teenage kids loved our stay. Enjoyed watching the sun rise over the lake every morning. The kids had fun catching bull frogs, kayaking and watching the turtles make nests to lay their eggs. The house was cozy and clean. Isabella was very easy to communicate with.
