I have never spent so many hours emailing back and forth to confirm check in arrangements, ID arrangements, deposit and payment details, check out details and maintenence issues before. On a very simple three day stay, for example, I had to send over 30 different emails / text messages in order to simply check in and stay. They made it so complicated it really ruined the stay.
The host kept sending messages on 'VRBO', which I was unable to log into to see the messages, I received emails instead saying 'a new message has been received'. I asked them to fix this issue, and nothing was done. Instead, everytime I had a new message (which was many many messages), I had to email them reminding them I cannot see the message on VRBO and to send it to me directly instead. It was very frustrating.
The check in location to collect the keys is 10-15 minute walk away from the apartment itself, this is frustrating when having luggage. When I went to check out, there was no one at the shop to drop the key off to so had to wait until the worker returned, which thankfully was less than 15 minute wait. Still, made for an annoying end to the stay.
The apartment itself was fine, despite the window to the main loungeroom not fully closing on a busy road in the middle of winter, however was fixed during my stay.
Honestly, avoid unless you can be bothered dealing with a nightmare of a mangement company.
