William made us feel right at home. The unit was thoughtfully prepared, the welcoming flowers were beautiful. The kitchen facilities were well stocked with all the appliances you would need during your stay for preparing meals. The extra touches of eggs , butter, bread and the selection of teas and coffees was greatly appreciated. The unit is spacious, centrally situated and has a lockable garage. It was an ideal location for daily trips doing the tourist sites of Canberra, most within a 15 minute drive. We would highly recommend Braddon Central Sanctuary.

Our second visit, have stayed in both front and back houses - both very clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, hot showers. definitely a great location with ample parking on site. We are not keen on air conditioning so a fan would have been appreciated. Definitely recommend staying in either house.

We felt like we were visiting old friends! William was incredibly welcoming and available for anything we needed. His place and space were exactly what we wanted, and accessible to all sorts of food, shopping and entertainment. Transportation was easy, the neighborhood a nice place to stroll. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!!!!

Great clean house

Wonderful location to the Canberra CBD shopping complex. The little extras were very appreciated. Parking on the property was perfect. House was very close to all the touristy things we wanted to do. William touched base with us to make sure all was going well. Thankyou. Would recommend this property.

Great location and great accommodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Braddon Sanctuary. The villa unit is well equipped, spacious and comfortable with great off street parking. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the vibrant Lonsdale St or to Civic and even walking distance to the War Memorial. William is a great host, easily contactable and very responsive. This was our second visit and we’ll definately stay there again.

Perfect Stay

I read all the perfect 10/10 reviews and thought, surely a property can't really be worthy of a 10/10. Well, I'm giving it a 10/10! The property was clean, spacious and in a good location. The host was very communicative. The host even provided fresh milk, bread and eggs on arrival; these little touches make all the difference (it's a shame other hosts don't recognise this simple gesture). I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, well-equipped stay in heart of city

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. Had everything a family of four needed for a short intercity holiday, and was clean and well maintained. For those with allergies or sensitivity to smells, please be aware that strong fragrances are used throughout in cleaning and decor.

Perfect spot for a tourist in Canberra

We spent five days at the property in September. The property is well set up and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay and was extremely cosy in the chilly Canberra weather we had. The bonus is the location which is walking distance to the city centre and to the vibrant Lonsdale St restaurant precinct. It also has excellent parking and is easily accessible to many of the Canberra attractions - we were able to walk to the War Memorial and leave the car at home. Will definitely stay there again when next in Canberra.

Perfect location

Fantastic location, very clean and very well kept. Beds were extremely comfortable and loved the extras that were there when we arrived. Very good communication and easy check in & out. A beautiful property that we will certainly rebook when we visit Canberra again.

It’s fantastic place with all amenities if visiting Canberra. The location is perfect and the house was absolutely clean. There were clear instructions and communication from the property manager and it was a very pleasant stay. Definitely recommend booking this if planning to stay near city.

Couldn't have been better.

The property was even better than the listing showed. Owners were wonderful to deal with and very accommodating. The little touches made the stay great and the kids (9 & 12) loved it too. Have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone looking for somewhere nice, and well located, in Canberra.

Home comforts

We had a wonderful long weekend stay. Great quiet location. Easy walk to shopping centre or trendy cafes and restaurants. Basic food supplies provided, which was one less thing to worry about. Main bed was very soft. TVs have foxtel. Diffusers in every room, smelling lovely. (They can be easily put away into one of the empty cupboards if you are sensitive to smells.)

Everything travellers could want

The unit is a single storey, spacious unit situated a short drive from all of Canberra's top sights. Access and parking are excellent. The owner has carefully thought of travellers' needs and very generously supplied everything from flowers and wine to lots of really useful kitchen and bathroom provisions. The unit is well appointed with quality fittings and it is immaculate throughout. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
