Switch off from the hustle and bustle of the outside world in our cosy historic River house, nestled on the edge of the beautiful Takou River where relaxation and peace are plentiful. Spend your days down on the wharf with a handline, kayaking the River or soaking in the outdoor tub taking in the stunning surroundings.



This really is the perfect place to rest and reset in amongst nature and all its beauty in a quiet rural setting.

Think back to basics, but cosy. bathroom Facilities are all outdoors bath, shower and clean long drop toilet.

Outside cooking facilities and kitchen sink.

solar lights and candles for lighting. NO POWER, NO WIFI or PHONE SERVICE (perfect to really switch off and enjoy the present moment we often don't do this enough) phone service a few k's up the road.
