Casa Maya is a Beachfront 4BD private villa with approximately 3,150 square feet of interior air-conditioned space, located in the gated community El Encanto de La Laguna. The villa is found on one of the most picturesque beaches with the miles of sand stretching out in both directions - perfect for long sunrise and sunset walks. The villa comes with the Beachclub and Fitness center membership included. The Beachclub feather a large infinity edge pool, jacuzzi, restaurant and bar. Oceanview Fitness Center is fully equipped.

The staff tried their best to help. Although it was a nice house we hand many maintenance problems. No hot water for 4 days, oven problems, dishwasher would not get hot enough to dissolve pods, access to beach had 3 foot drop from stairs, window in casita bathroom nearly fell out with broken hinge and one of the Chase lounge chair’s needed repair. These issues need to be on a check list for future guests.

Absolutely Perfect

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a week and we had THE best vacation. Everything about the experience was amazing - Susana the concierge was extremely helpful and responsive, the location was stunning, the area was quiet, the house was gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, I could go on and on. I can't recommend this property enough.

Exceeded our expectations!

This is a beautiful place, perfect for our friends and family vacation! The home has everything you need - plenty of storage containers for food, beach towels, robes, excellent air conditioning. We took advantage of the grocery pre-stock for the first day's essentials and then went to La Comer for the rest of the week's groceries. Location is a bit away from everything, but we loved the quiet, and you're only 15 min from Flora Farms and Acre. The beach was not swimmable for us, so we took the umbrellas to Palmilla for the day, which was perfect. And it was so nice to just lounge in the pool and hot tub, especially in the evenings! The staff was friendly and helpful - can't say enough about this gorgeous home!

Beautiful House / Quiet Beaches

We loved staying at El Encanto Villas. The house was beautifully appointed and meticulously clean. The zero edge pools edge spilled right out onto the beach with the ocean just 50 yards away. The development is a gated community and very safe. We rented ATV’s and drove up the beach for miles and miles, fished off the beach and boats, and just relaxed. Susana, the Rental Concierge, was amazing in helping us figure out options of activities and restaurants to eat and secured us reservations. I can’t wait to go back and stay a lot longer!!! Oh, make sure you have Hidey and team come to the house and give you massages. She is the best!!! Thanks again for a great time!

Incredible house!

This house is incredible. Everything you would need - comfy bedrooms, pool, overlooking the beach, hot tub, swim up bar. The concierge at the house, Susana, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable by helping us with booking everything we needed both before we arrived and even also helped with taxis etc when we were there. The location is great in a more relaxed, quiet part of Cabo in a beautiful community. Our stay could not have been better

We all love everything about El Encanto de la Laguna #9!!! The house is really pretty, even better than the online pictures, very clean, confortable, nice decoration, well equipped and really nice located; very impressed!! The house is not only excellent but the concierge service is even better; Allilat was there for us from the moment we made the reservation to the day we left without been too much. She arranged our cars, kayaks, paddle boards and crib rental; the chef service we had for breakfast everyday and few dinners were amazing, all organic ingredients and all prepared from scratch in the house, excellent service!! We had excellent and very professional massages in the house; all arranged by Allilat. The house is located in a very nice quiet area that we loved; the house is ocean from and the water is beautiful blue, the beach was really nice to walk. We recommend this place and their services 100%..

What a great place to stay! The home is as advertised and more. When we arrived the place was in perfect order and clean from top to bottom and pool and hot tub worked perfectly as well. The home was tastefully decorated and had every comfort you could want. Prior to our coming Alilat, (the concierge) arranged our fishing trip, golf, and massages at the home for the girls. She was easy to reach and communicate with while there. She is very kind and responsive but not overbearing at all (very unintrusive). We took our family of ten of which included an infant and a two year old. The accommodations were perfect for that number of people. The home is far enough away to be secluded and yet close enough to Cabo that it was not a inconvenience to travel. The beach is pristine and rarely did we see many people on the beach so it felt very private. We spent a lot of our time at the home because it was so relaxing and enjoyable. After catching fish we asked Alilat if she could arrange a chef to prepare it along with other traditional Mexican items for our last evening. He and his assistant were amazing. The food was a hit. In addition, it was my sons and his wife's anniversary so the chef prepared a table on the beach for them. The setting was very romantic and perfect for the two of them as the sun was setting. We also ate at Flora Farms, close by, and loved the atmosphere. The home, location on the beach, and setting helped to make our trip there a wonderful family experience and memory!

The best time ever!

I don't know where to begin with what a lovely time we had. It was my Friend's 50th Birthday. There were 10 of us and we had special permission for this amount of people. We were more than comfortable and the home was exceedingly spacious. The decor was light and airy (but not sterile in anyway), contemporary and very tasteful. The patio (with infinity pool and hot tub!!!) offered privacy and stunning travel book views. The beach was quiet and the ocean crystal blue. We walked to a local restaurant the first night, the second night had a dinner catered and the third night to a local organic farm in San Jose Del Cabo. http://www.flora-farms.com/ ... and we had a massage spa come to the house.... The hosts were easy to work with and we had a remarkable time. It was restful and beautiful. If you want crazy night life - this is perhaps not for you. Beachfront luxury

Directly on a terrific uncrowded beach. Great to have the sound of the crashing waves as a constant background - no need for a white noise machine here! Great location - 10 min drive from San Jose but removed from the hustle & bustle of the corridor. Also (somewhat) convenient to Cabo Pulmo and great snorkeling and diving. Excellent kitchen, beds, wifi, entertainment system, TV with US broadcast. Concierge very responsive when needed, but, unlike several other villas we've stayed in, was unintrusive and allowed us to have the quiet, private vacation we were seeking.

What an outstanding trip!!!

I can not say enough! From the service before even getting there to the day to day service once on the trip, it was an amazing trip and we are going back to the same place just because of it. Alilat was incredible! Our original trip was cancelled due to a possible hurricane as not only did they work through that but made the actual trip even better. She was everything you want in a person setting things up via email and phone. Always kind and willing to get it done! The private Chef Harialberto was incredible. Each meal was better then the last. He was there for every meal and the final meal was incredible. It was for my wife's birthday and he went over the top. It was healthy, well prepared and each meal thought out. Lastly the home itself. It is the best home within the community. Cant say enough and could go one for hours. Incredible home, outstanding people, unbelievable chef!

Stunning Property, Fantastic Trip

We just returned from a five night stay at the Casa Maya. Travelled with 4 adult couples and we all thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The property and house were impeccably maintained and cared for. Maria, the property manager and Alilat the concierge were both wonderful to deal with. We took advantage of the pre-arrival stocking which was great and a must in my opinion. The hot tub and pool along with the outdoor stereo system made our days entertaining and relaxing all in one. The views were breathtaking. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything you needed and they also provided beach towels for the pool. For night time we used the BBQ and it also worked great. If you feel like sneaking away for a meal or two a wonderful little place is within walking distance called Buzzard's, great food, great atmosphere, great owner. You felt more than safe inside this gated community and all the neighbours were extremely polite and pleasant. Overall if you are looking for a perfect vacation spot than don't hesitate to stay at the Casa Maya.

Absolutely Fabulous!

We stayed in the Casa Maya for one week in early January 2015. The house was fabulous! The service was even better! We had four adults, two children and the accommodations were very nice and comfortable for all of us. Its right on the beach with hot tub & pool. Road to the house is a bit dicey because it wasn't repaired after hurricane (4 months earlier). The road would be our only complaint as it lengthens the drive time to San Jose by about 10 minutes. We used the sitter service Gabriella two nights and she is amazing with kids (no worries...). The cook/chef service by Danielle is beyond belief and is so fabulous. Danielle is worth every penny and will make your stay much better. Danielle was one of the highlights of our trip, he and his wife and food are remarkable, hire them! We also had massages at the house, which were fabulous! The beech is very nice and remote, not like being in busy Cabo. If you want a very relaxing stay with amazing services, this is the place to be! Whales off the beach, fished off beach, swam in ocean, etc... Booking thru Maria was very easy and she answered all our questions. The concierge is Alilat and she will arrange services that I mentioned. Alilat was fabulous and if there were any maintenance issues with the house or dirty pool, they showed up within the hour! Highly recommend this property and the staff that work here.

Incredible Beach Escape

We booked Casa Maya for my sister's 40th birthday week. The house is absolutely gorgeous, and impeccably maintained. It shows no signs of being a rental property, but instead felt like our home for the week. The property is even better than the pictures - spacious and comfortable. Our family stayed in the main house, and guests stayed in the Casita, which offers a private, more separated space (more like a hotel room). The property manager, Maria, and the concierge, Alilat, are absolutely first rate -- impeccable service. They were excellent to communicate with prior to our arrival, handling my various questions and changes with ease, and quickly returned our security deposit after our departure. Alilat made sure all of our needs at the house were met - arranged a high chair for my son, booked massage therapists to come to the house, accommodated multiple grocery orders (and had everything perfectly stocked by the time we arrived), arranged a personal chef for my sister's birthday dinner (chef Daniel, who was excellent in every way), and even handled a custom cake order from Cabo (45 minutes away) without hesitation. The grounds of the house are lovely, the neighborhood of El Encanto is so nice it looks like a movie set, and the beach was deserted, clean, and relaxing. There is a system to play music outside, which makes pool time perfect. We also grilled a lot, and made great use of the swim-up bar. There is a giant laundry room on the first floor, and the kitchen and laundry room are extremely well stocked. We wanted a self-contained, quiet getaway vacation, and everything about our trip was even better than we hoped for (and we went in with high expectations). It is worth noting that El Encanto itself is fairly isolated, which is exactly what we wanted. It's about a 15 minute drive from San Jose del Cabo. But with a rental car, which I would highly recommend, getting into town or even up to Cabo would be really easy. Overall, we can't say enough about this beautiful home, gorgeous community, and excellent service. We can't wait to go back!

Excellent stay at Casa Maya

We recently returned from a week in Los Cabos for our wedding. This was our second time staying in the beautiful East Cape beachfront community of El Encanto. The location is away from town about 10 minutes, which provides a great feel of being out in the true Baja environment, but still close enough to go out for food or shopping if desired. Casa Maya was spacious, well-kept, and beautifully furnished. Its four bedrooms were perfect for my wife and I and our family. The kitchen was immaculate and perfect for cooking meals for our group. The front yard has a nice pool and outdoor bar and kitchen, located right on the beach. We would highly recommend for a larger family or several couples. In addition to the location, the great thing about renting Casa Maya or elsewhere in El Encanto is the onsite rental management and concierge services by Maria and Alilat They are always helpful in setting up rental agreements, reservations, transportation, in home chefs, and any other needs you have.

We love Casa Maya!

We kicked off our summer at Casa Maya in June, 2010. It was the perfect place for our two families (4 adults and 6 kids). The house is located on a private beachfront property in El Encanto de La Laguna. The quiet beach was a welcome change from the overcrowded, noisy, annoying beaches you find at the big resorts. The house had plenty of room for all of us and the "tweens" got their own private space in the casita. The casita is the perfect place for older kids who want their independance or a couple that is seeking privacy. Everything you could ever need is in the house, including a chef's kitchen, luxurious linens, infinity pool with jacuzzi, and top of the line electronics (flat screen TV's, DVDs, stereo with outside speakers, etc...). The property is brand new and in perfect condition. Days were spent lounging by the pool and playing on the beach and at night we enjoyed the outdoor grill and ate under the stars followed by a bonfire with s'mores on the beach. El Encanto is conveniently located 20 minutes from downtown San Jose with charming boutiques, art galleries and fantastic restaurants. If you don't want to drive, there is a local casual Mexican restaurant on the beach called Buzzards that is walking distance from the house. Whether you decide to go with your kids or on an adults-only trip, Casa Maya will not disspoint. You will want to make your reservation for your next trip back before you leave!
