All these transport conveniences are just up a few hundred metres up St Johns Row towards Moseley Square: TRAM TO CITY/ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE- In the Square. You can buy tickets on the tram or at the Moseley Square tram stop with your credit card or cash. TAXI- There is a rank just outside the Stamford Grand Hotel- usually stocked 24 hrs any day. BUSES- There are a number of bus routes available on the North side of the Square. The AIRPORT is just 9 km away. Airport taxi fares are usually about $22-$25 dollars. Allow 15 minutes. A BUS SERVICE also runs regularly from Glenelg to the Airport (and Harbourtown!). There is one SECURE OFF-STREET CARPARK behind the building available if required. A parking permit is available for on-street parking.
This is a residential building, so please be considerate of the neighbours. No smoking, pets or parties. As this residence is a strata title, any loss of keys will require the entire strata community to have doors rekeyed and cut for security purposes. For this reason, loss of keys will result in a $300 fee. Loss of parking permit will incur a $20 fee to cover council reapplication fee. Please remove shoes when in the flat out of consideration for our downstairs neighbours. Please be particularly conscious of noise levels between 10pm and 8am as heavy footfall can resonate downstairs in this old building. Beach towels are provided. The beach at the end our street allows responsible alcohol consumption, however, immediately north (right) of the street, at Glenelg Beach central, is designated as a family zone and is therefore alcohol free. Sunscreen and nail polish remover must be applied in the bathroom or on the balcony. Unfortunately, acetate in nail polish remover, and some acetate related compounds which are ingredients of some sunscreens causes damage to the surface of the floorboards. Damage caused by accidental spillage requires entire rooms to be resurfaced and guests will be liable for repairs. Please ensure balcony and flat doors are locked and windows closed when completing stay and exiting the building. Failure to secure the apartment incurs a fee of $150. Please ensure keys are secured in keysafe at the time of departure. Failure to secure keys in the keysafe incurs a fee of $150.
