Relax on Private Open Concept Waterfront Cottage on 1.5 acres, Star Gazing, Private Dock, Incredible Lake Views with amazing Sunsets, Outdoor Fire Pit, Canoe, Screened in Area with Lake/Fire Pit views, Wrap around deck with view of the water, Fish from the dock (fish stocked my MNO), Swimming. 3 bedrooms - King Bed, Queen Bed, Bunk Bed + Queen. 2.5 hour drive from Toronto. Wifi included. Air Conditioning. Boat Launch on Lake. Lots to see - either on the drive up or on your stay - Haliburton Sculpture Gardens, Wolf Sanctuary, Petting Farms, Alpaca Farms, Fenlon Falls, Kinmount Logging Museum and home of Kawartha Lakes Ice cream.

*Note: there is an unpaved road to the cottage for approximately 10KM so SUV/Truck is ideal. Car is ok, but you may have to go slower on the dirt road.

The cottage is waterfront, but there are stairs to go down to the water/beach incase there is someone in your family/friends that may have limited mobility.

Great host and wonderful cottage. Water front access, non motorized sports and amazing views. The lake was wonderful and clean. Cottage was clean and everything as listed. Dogs loved the open space and the swimming.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was nicely cleaned and check in was very easy. The lake was amazing, lots of floaties and thingsto play with at the water. Dock is great for swimming off of, and there are lots of chairs already down by the water. I would warn any future travellers that the road into the cottage might bump the breakfast out of you. Overall excellent stay and I would certainly reccomend you rent this cottage.

The pictures don’t do this lovely cottage justice! We were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it was . It was exactly what we wanted. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dock has plenty of water toys to enjoy. Once you arrive, cell service is limited so it's best to communicate everything with Melanie before your arrival. Melanie is an amazing host— very generous and easy to communicate with. Thank you, Melanie, for sharing your wonderful cottage with us. We are already planning to come back.

Host was definitely prompt with their communication.The property was dog friendly and we were happy to have our two dogs with us.The lake was beautiful, deep clear water very swimmable, and a great small beach for the little children. My grandson loved the trucks! The lake ‘toys’ were in adequate shape we had to clean the paddle boat to use it, dump the collected water and algae that had formed.The canoe was great, paddles old and kinda small. Paddleboards were foam and ‘okay’ with just one small paddle.The huge floating flamingo and ‘Lily Pad’ were fun for all!Great fire pit and comfy Muskoka Chairs…The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, mugs and glasses.(Water cooler requires a large 15 litre jug of water)All in all my family had a great time!

Melanie’s cottage was great. Loved the lake. Kind and friendly neighbours. We enjoyed all the amenities and loved the pink flamingo floatie.
