‘The Cabin’ - a retreat among the trees

Relax in this warm cozy space where birds sing and time stands still. The Cabin is a self contained space attached the main house where the owner lives, separated by two walls, providing you with privacy.

There is a loft bedroom up a ladder with a queen sized bed. Or you have the option of sleeping downstairs on the (very comfortable) queen Koala sofa bed, with extra armchairs added to the space in this instance. Please let me know if you’d prefer the sofa bed. If you need the use of both beds for less than 3 people, you will need to select 3 people as your reservation option so I know to make up both beds.

Shower over bath, and fully equipped kitchen.

Heating is hydronic heating panels and split system. The split system also does cooling.

The property is not steep but there are stairs to the front door. If you have accessibility concerns, I can organise a separate, flatter entry for you, just message me about this prior to booking.

The patio and grassy area directly in front of The Cabin with chairs and table are available to use. It’s advisable not to go into the backyard where the dogs are as they will bark at you and carry on! Also - dog poop…

I have two small dogs which do tend to bark when people arrive but they settle down and they don’t bark at night or early morning. There are also others staying living in a bungalow on the property, around 20m from the cabin. Please don’t venture down the back towards the bungalow for their privacy.
