Escape to Blackridge Cabin, a beautiful retreat located just one mile up our private driveway in the scenic Selkirk Loop. Enjoy breathtaking views, serene privacy, and the perfect mix of outdoor adventure and cozy luxury.

1 Bedroom & 1 Spacious Bathroom

Fully Equipped Kitchen – everything you need to cook your favorite meals

Cozy Living Room – includes a pull-out sofa bed for extra guests

Wrap-Around Deck – dining area and private hot tub with stunning views

Huge Yard – outdoor games, firepit, and plenty of room to relax

Onsite Hiking Trails – explore our property and surrounding National Forest

Tiny Cabin Available: We also offer a tiny cabin with an additional 1 bedroom and full bath at an extra cost, perfect for older children or couples seeking more privacy.
It is on the opposite side of the property, just a short walk. This cabin is only available when renting the larger cabin.

Listen to the distant sounds of cows, watch eagles and hawks soar overhead, and spot deer, elk, moose, or even bears on our hiking trails – all without seeing another person.

Great Stay!

The cabin was very clean and the views were amazing! The place was very easy to find based off the specific instructions given by the host. We will definitely be coming back and referring this place to friends and family!

Delightful Cabin, Beautiful Views!!! You won’t be disappointed, attention to detail throughout the cabin inside & out. Fabulous hosts, accurate information & very helpful. A piece of paradise that you feel tucked away with nature yet convenient to local shopping, dining…. We so enjoyed the views from the front porch with morning coffee.

We loved our stay here! The cabin is beautifully decorated with so many special touches. The view of the mountains and the valley below did not disappoint. We loved sitting outside and watching the sunsets. It’s very peaceful! Kip and Jennifer were wonderful hosts! They were very helpful and provided several restaurant recommendations. This was our first time in the Bonners Ferry area and we did not want to leave!

A great place to take some after holiday relaxation time. Hot tub was so nice in the cold evenings! Kip and Jennifer are super hosts and helpful. Adventure awaits in Idaho :)

Relaxing and comfortable

Jennifer and Kip (as well as Reese and Rebel) were great hosts! The cabin is super clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the deck, BBQ grill and the hot tub each day. Would highly recommend!

Mountain Paradise

The weekend was amazing! The cabin was clean, cozy, super comfortable and beautifully decorated... the setting was so peaceful, and the private hot tub was very relaxing, with an unbelievable view! We couldn't have asked for a better getaway.

Loved this place.

Amazing views, very clean, lovely pets. Dogs are scary looking, but sooooo sweet. Loved them, loved the place, loved the hot tub. Just can't say enough. Lots of rules, but for a good reason. Very amazing place. If your considering to stay here, I would say definite yes.

Cozy cabin with beautiful view

This cabin was wonderful! Beautiful views with excellent hosts, with two of the sweetest, best doggoes, living on the property. So many extra little touches of hospitality including muffins and makings for mimosas and a goodbye snack and drink bag for your trip home. The owners were so friendly and everything was spotless. Close to hiking and many more activities. The hot tub was private and had the best view of the valley below. Close to town with many restaurants close by. We loved our stay here. Will definitely book again ASAP.

Absolutely the best weekend

I stayed here this weekend for my birthday and I absolutely had the best time. The cabin was not only very clean, but it was so beautiful and decorated just perfectly for a cabin. The hot tub was so amazing. I love how secluded it was. The owners do live on the same property, but they did not bother us whatsoever and it was very quiet up there. they seem like very nice people and it was kind of nice to know that someone else was on the property for safety reasons. Will most definitely be back.

Jennifer and Kip are the best! When I was leaving my car battery had died and Kip was great!

Clean! Quiet!Cozy! Note: you have to open the door on the electric fireplace to turn it on. You can’t turn it on with just the remote.

We really enjoyed our time celebrating our anniversary at this beautiful setting. The hot tub seemed very clean. Even though the owners lived on the property, we felt we had total privacy in the cabin, deck and hot tub. The view was spectacular and cabin was just perfect.

The most amazing getaway!

Our stay far exceeded expectations! The pictures don't do it justice. The property was spotlessly clean and very relaxing. The view is unparallelled, and the cabin was very private. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. We will certainly stay again someday.

Secluded …away from other tourists with beautiful views

We loved the quiet, peaceful location, well centralized to take hikes in the mountains and boating on lakes and rivers. Morning coffee on the porch enjoying the view to evening star gazing from the hot tub we’re daily activities we loved on the premises. Also took full advantage of the workout cabin and fire pit! Kip and Jennifer were fun to get to know, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Fresh veggies from the garden, a thoughtful welcome basket of goodies, wonderful touches throughout the cabin. We loved unplugging here for 10 days, refreshed and great memories made.

Wonderful cabin

The cabin is great. The views are amazing. The hot tub was delightful. The hosts are very helpful. The driveway is a challenge if you're not used to mountain driving, but quite doable. We'll be back if we're ever in the neighborhood!

Hi! My husband, Kip, and I love to travel, but we love to be in our home even more. We visited North Idaho nine years ago and fell in love with it, so we bought land and began to build our dream vacation home. At first, we were flying back and forth monthly from Florida! Finally, Kip said to me, “I love it in Idaho. Let's live there full time.” So...we did! In 2017, we built a guest cabin so we could share the beauty and relaxation with our friends and family. Every single person who comes to our property—including locals—say it is the most beautiful place they have ever been, and the positive feedback was what led to the decision to open up that cabin as a vacation destination. The experience has been amazing, and I feel like I'm on vacation all the time because I get to interact with new people everyday.
