This property was AMAZING! After reading all the raving reviews, we decided to book this house for me and my family of 6 (including two young children). Photos and description were accurate. Check in and out was a breeze. The house was very clean upon arrival. Our favorite features were the tempur-pedic mattresses and the golf cart tram service to the beach and the large jetted tub in the master bathroom. The house came equipped with everything we needed including beach chairs, boogie boards, sand castle kits, floaties etc. We enjoyed the private beach access and bar areas. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great house to stay in. Everything was nice, clean, and comfortable. There were plenty of kitchen items to cook with and plenty of towels in the bathrooms. It was also nice to have some beach items to use, and although they were worn, we were happy to not have to buy anything. We liked the location to the beach - an easy walk over. Our kids really enjoyed everything, too.

We had the most amazing time at this beach house! It was the perfect blend of cozy and spacious—plenty of room for our family, but still felt relaxing and homey. The house was spotless when we arrived, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need, from beach toys to kitchen essentials.The hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful.

Perfection

We’ve stayed in this neighborhood for three summers now and we thought this house was the best!! We had all the things we needed in the kitchen, lots of towels, loved the large tub, and was so happy to have all the beach toys!

Multi-Generation Family Vacation

Our extended family rented multiple house in this gated community. This was perfect as it allowed us to bring our family dog with us. The patio was very welcoming and enjoyed sitting outside. The single level was perfect. The heated pool was nice for the younger one and the closest pool for sunbathing! Will consider renting again.

Very nice winter break from Northern cold

Home was clean, attractive and well-located. The kitchen was well-equipped with utensils and there was even a small selection of spices for cooking. The community is attractive and management was very responsive to several issues early in our stay. Our six-day stay was the perfect escape.

Fantastic thanksgiving stay

Clean, quiet, fun, beautifully decorated home. Very close to the beach, 2 pools nearby also. I had a small issue with the car gate code when I arrived (it was 11pm) so I called the host hoping for the best. They answered promptly and gave me a quick resolution. All in all a great stay.

Great Stay at Emerald Shores

Our multi generational family of 6 had a great stay for a week here. The tram to the beach was nice to have and the beach was gorgeous! the home was clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. We hope to come back again!

Excellent!

Had a great experience staying here! The house was clean and comfortable and was located in a great little community. The tram to the beach was a plus for us when hauling all of our beach gear and the tram drivers were very courteous. The property manager was attentive and addressed issues quickly. Would highly recommend!

Mini vacay

We enjoyed the property. Only down side was the master rooms ceiling fan does not work properly and was extremely loud. So if you need a fan to sleep, maybe bring one with you. We also could never get the WiFi to work the four days we were there but we out at the beach most of the time. Overall wonderful stay!

Wonderful home

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was a great location. The home was clean and well stocked. The only confusing part was obtaining the wrist bands. Some were left in the home (red ones) are the wrong color to wear. We stopped by the location given in the emailed instructions and they weren't open for the season. The guy on the beach wanted us to pay for the correct wrist bands. Good thing i read the detailed instructions in the email to not pay them. I got them on the phone and they spoke to him directly. The situation was cleared up right away and he gave us the correct bands to wear. The was our first time in Destin and would definitely stay again!

One of our best vacations!

Absolutely loved this property! We stayed for spring break with our 20 year old and 14 year old. It was a short 10 minute walk through the neighborhood to get to the beach. You’re close to grocery stores and lots of restaurant options. The house was perfect and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at 35 Opal Cove. The house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Very comfortable for my friend and me for our 6 week stay. We had room for some overnight visits from my granddaughters and friends. Love Emerald Shores neighborhood
