We invite you to relax and enjoy our comfortable home that offers everything you need for a Maine getaway. Each spacious bedroom offers a queen size bed and large closet. A washer and dryer are provided. The small coastal fishing village of Sorrento boasts one of the most picturesque coastal harbors in the state with stunning winter views. Several freshwater lakes and ponds offer opportunities for ice fishing. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor is located just 40 minutes away and the Schoodic Peninsula - Acadia National Park, in Winter Harbor is just 20 minutes away from this centrally located home. Much of the park, at both locations, remain open during the winter for those hardy folks who wish to experience them when less crowded. A short drive to Ellsworth will offer plenty of local shopping, grocery stores and an L. L. Bean Outlet. We are finishing up a four season porch that offers a comfortable area to read or lounge in the sunshine.
