My wife, the first hour we were at the carriage house coudn't stop saying how cute this property is...the owners were very responsive to questions we had and provided late check in due to our travel arrangments. Close to all the fun and adventures in the Acadia park area.

If stairs are not an issue, this is the perfect property for two people. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Quiet. Beautiful sunrises. The dock was a wonderful, relaxing place to sit and soak up this lovely spot of coastal beauty.

Wonderful! We were very comfortable here and loved watching the fishermen work their boats in the bay. Everything was perfect! This is a very clean, private and beautiful location. It is accurately listed and the pictures are real pictures of this location. Bonnie was very responsive to any questions we had. We have stayed at several VRBO places, but this was the best. Note that if you plan to visit Arcadia National Park, it is a bit of a drive, but we loved it all. Thank you so much Bonnie!

Unbelievable place

Was absolutely the best place we ever stayed. Views were magnificent and the bay! Really enjoyed sitting by the bay with the campfire roaring! The hosts rreally know how to give the very best !

This cottage is among the best we have stayed in. The view of Joy Bay at high tide is priceless. The cottage is roomy, well-designed, well-built, nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. It’s quiet and private, clean, and well supplied. The bed and bedding are nice and comfortable and the shower is great. The wi-fi signal could be beefed up, but we would definitely return. The owners' taste and concern for quality and value are clearly evident.

Charming cottage stay

From the moment we arrived we loved the cottage! Perfect for the two of us! We bought local seafood and cooked in almost every night while enjoying the solitude of property. Would absolutely come back again and stay. Bonnie was so easy to work with and the cottage was clean and very well appointed!

Haven of peace and tranquillity

Wonderful location. Quiet and peaceful. Off the beaten path but close enough to all the action of Bar Harbor. Bonnie was very helpful with recommendations from hiking to sea kayaking to restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Idyllic

The property was as advertised! So restful and quiet, with views from every window. We enjoyed hiking and biking in the area - Arcadia in Bar Harbor and Schoodic sides, plus a trip to Lubec and Campobello Island. Highly, highly recommend this VRBO!

Perfect Place

What a lovely find, a real gem of a place. On the water, tranquil views from all the windows a very nice kitchen and bath with a very comfy bed, all very thoughtfully decorated. Honestly, what more can you ask for in a vacation rental? Just perfect!

Everything as advertised

We had a wonderful stay! It’s a beautiful, quiet affordable spot for any couple looking to get away and enjoy the Maine coast without breaking the bank. The loft / cottage has everything one needs. We cooked most of our meals on the grill and enjoyed the private dock and fire pit. Views are beautiful and peaceful.

Inviting and calming

The layout was perfect…kitchen easy to work in with everything I needed. Lovely view from windows and small deck. Dock has 2 chairs for enjoying the views and sea breezes. Owners were terrific and helpful.
