The Space:

White House on the Lake by Tiny Away is a charming countryside retreat and peaceful farm stay just an hour from Melbourne, Victoria. Our tiny house is set beside Sugarloaf Creek and surrounded by beautiful Australian bushland, offering stunning nature views, native wildlife, and a relaxing escape to unwind and reconnect with nature.



A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



IMPORTANT NOTE: We are self-catering accommodation, so please bring all your basic necessities such a food and other essentials.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the tiny home and surrounding areas, including the main lake. The host’s private residence and farm sheds are excluded. Please notify the host before using the lake area for safety reasons.



Check-in is available until 6:00 PM only. If you expect to arrive late, please notify the host in advance to discuss arrangements.

- Fresh eggs (when available): $8 per 6 eggs

White House on the Lake by Tiny Away is an eco farm stay in Sugarloaf Creek, just an hour from Melbourne, Victoria. Surrounded by peaceful countryside, it’s the perfect base to explore local cafes, wineries, attractions, and nature experiences.



Enjoy country dining in Broadford, Kilmore, Seymour, and Avenel, including local favourites like Country Soul Cafe and Fowles Winery & Restaurant. Discover nearby destinations such as Trawool Estate, Nagambie Lakes, and historic Bendigo.



Stock up on essentials in Broadford, Kilmore, or Seymour, and explore the natural beauty of Mount Piper Nature Conservation Reserve, Tallarook State Forest, and Murchison Gap Lookout for bushwalks, wildlife, and scenic views.



Getting Around:

By car:

- Melbourne - 1.5hrs - 100km nearest town Broadford - 10min - 8km - All 2WD roads



By public transport:

- Train to Broadford from Melbourne (we can do pickup) NO taxi service.

- Wi-Fi available

- No pets allowed

- No smoking allowed

- No children allowed

- Gas BBQ grill is available

- No unregistered visitors/guests allowed

- Free potable drinking water is provided separately

- Sugar, salt, and cooking oil are provided for BBQ use.

- Telstra and Optus have good signal while other networks have weak to no signal on the property.

- Our friendly resident dogs (Maremma and Dingo Cross) welcome guests, so please drive carefully on arrival. The homestead and tiny house are enclosed by a snake-proof fence; however, please stay aware when exploring beyond the fenced area, especially during warmer months.

- Reptiles and insects may be present; insect repellent is recommended.

- Please note that accessing paddocks beyond the homestead fence is at your own risk.
