Enjoyed our stay

We liked the location and place. There were plenty of kitchen items for cooking and meals. The resort area is nice. The condo itself needs some repairs and cleaning.

3/10 - DO NOT STAY HERE - Major Maintenance & Privacy IssuesBrett's Oasis Private lake house in Margaritaville was a massive disappointment and, frankly, unusable for a comfortable vacation. Based on our experience, this property is in desperate need of maintenance and should not be rented in its current condition.Here is why this was a 3-star experience:Safety & Maintenance Hazards: The ceiling was leaking directly onto the bed, which is unacceptable. Furthermore, there is rotten wood on the deck, creating a safety hazard.Broken Amenities: The couch is broken; if you sit in the recliner portion, it falls backwards. The microwave does not heat food, the dryer door does not shut easily, and the deck umbrella was completely broken.Hygiene & Functionality: The shower heads are heavily corroded, gross, and barely work. The water filter was expired, and the owner did not replace it upon request. Additionally, the washing machine is installed behind a wall, making it nearly impossible to reach the bottom without a step ladder.Comfort & Privacy: The mattresses are rock hard. There were no blinds or curtains on most windows, offering zero privacy. Speaking of privacy, this is not a "private" lake house—neighbors are within 50 feet.Service Issues: Pictures fell off the walls, and the host showed little initiative, requiring us to ask for new bedding after the roof leak, rather than offering it immediately.Conclusion: Avoid this property. It is unsafe, uncomfortable, and not as describ

Good stay

The house is very nice, well kept and taken care of. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us and two dogs. We really appreciated the open living/dining area! Only thing to mention, not a complaint, is that the upstairs does get quite warm in the afternoon, the AC cannot keep up. The lower level will get bone chilling cold if you aren’t careful. Good stay, we would go back!

Clean, beautiful house with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Wonderful holiday weekend enjoying the pools, grilling out, and a gorgeous view. Our children are already asking to go back.

Lovely Cabin

This property was very well maintained and had lots of kitchen appointments and appliances that would have made cooking a breeze. I didn't know that, but if we return next year we will bring some things to cook! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was also nice enough to let me check in early when I was attending a conference and couldn't find a parking place.

Overnight Stay

It was just an overnight stay before a work retreat. We just wanted to come down the night before so we didn’t have to wake up super early and drive down that Friday! It was a beautiful place and I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of this place. It also has a tragically beautiful story behind why the property owner came to own it!

Weekend Getaway

Everyone was suffering from cabin fever. We usually find a hotel with a pool, however we would need 2 rooms to accommodate our tribe. This house was perfect for our group with plenty of room for the children to play. The price was perfect too, allowing us to take the children to the on sight water park. It was a great weekend for all!
