Unique private apartment in a great location near Cross County Mall, Empire Casino, and easy access to many local colleges. Private offstreet parking a big plus! Felt safe and secure all weekend. Although decor was dated, everything was clean. Great shower with soft water. Wi-Fi and access to multiple streaming platforms really great too! Thank you to our host, Brian!

Just as described

Easy check in, off street parking, secure and quiet area. Perfect location for visiting the casino or Yankee stadium. Lots of food options. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with quick responses. We are already looking forward to stay again.

We were very disappointed. Listing said no smoking.There was a sign stating that right above the ashtray. The room smelled of stale smoke and there were burn holes in the sheet. The bathrm was clean but the room was very dirty. I had to wipe down dressers before I put items on them.The rag was very dirty. I have a photo showing this. I wiped the shelf under the air conditioner and that one was black. The set up was unique. A code to get into foyer of house. Then through a curtain to your sitting area. Then a coded lock to get into your bedrm. No deadbolt lock on inside of bedrm door. Bathrm across hall. Off street parking was nice.

Oh please you’re exaggerating and it sounds like you specifically wanted a hotel (deadbolt lock on bedroom door) and did not read the description. The listing says no cigarette smoking specifically. The towels and bedding are washed before and after every stay. The place is cleaned before and after every stay & I use an O2 cleaner machine to clear the air. With these complaints I’m surprised you stood both 2 days instead of canceling your stay the 1st day, were you comfortable or not make up your mind because someone that is “very disappointed” surely would’ve cancelled their stay. I get it maybe it’s because you had to keep going outside to smoke your cigarettes so you planned this bad review. Future guests please don’t get steered away by this Karen.

Satisfactory stay in yonkers

This room was listed accurately and has amazing aesthetics. The host was super communicative and attentive and did his best to help me navigate the sidewalk improvements that were being made on the day of my arrival. My one suggestion would be to provide a kureg or similar basic coffee set up in the room for guests. It was my first time to visit Yonkers and there wasn’t a lot of coffee shops there. Thanks for delivering a quality experience, I would stay here again.

Served its purpose

I believe it's the furnished basement of the house with its own entrance. There's a bedroom, sitting area, bathroom/shower, A/C, microwave, mini fridge, iron, TVs. It's nothing fancy but was suitable for my needs (a decent place to sleep and shower). It's in walking distance of several stops along the North-Metro railroad, Target, the shopping mall, and Sarah Lawrence College. Convenient location to everything I needed since I didn't have a car. The price was reasonable. I will likely stay there again.

It ok as cozy and comfortable. I didn’t like that I had to communicate through the app. I also did not like that the bathroom was separate it almost felt as if I was sharing it.

You gave me 1 star because you didn’t know how to use the app, I responded to all your messages and gave everything you needed and you claim you weren’t seeing it and kept ringing the ring doorbell to talk to me it’s not my fault you don’t know how to use the app and then you left a huge mess and had water everywhere and you checked out very late the audacity of you to give me 1 star
