There were no towels, no soap to wash hands in the bathroom and no cups to drink from. The occupants upstairs were vacuuming past 10pm and then banging on metal pipes or grate, not sure till late into midnight.There seems no insulation from movement between floors.

Apartment to stay

I have god communication with the host, we do check in on time, the location is excellent, the neiborghood is was silence. The bassement is clean, with space for 4 person. Really god to stay there. I recommended.

The unit was clean and easy to find. There were no difficulties finding street parking near the unit. Excellent communication with the host. The neighborhood was quaint and felt very safe. It was a lovely and safe 10 minute walk to the Bellerose train station. We had tickets to an Islanders game at UBS arena. It was convenient to get there and back by train. We didn't find any drinking glasses in the unit. It was also lacking paper towels. The shower has very strong water pressure, which was wonderful. We couldn't find any way to regulate the temperature in the unit, but on a very cold night, it was quite comfortable. The bathroom was a little cold. We like to use wash cloths and there weren't any provided. There wasn't a hand towel, either. The bath towels provided were big and fluffy. The beds didn't have a top sheet, just a fitted sheet and a comforter. That seemed a bit strange to us, but worked out just fine. The beds were comfortable. We were asked to take the trash to the backyard. Note - the backyard is accessed from the other side of the house. We made the mistake of putting it behind the gate right outside of the door to the unit. The neighbor let us know that we messed up. She was NOT happy. She said that it has happened before. So make sure to walk around the house to the other side to dispose of your trash. Overall, a decent basement apartment that adequately met our needs.
