Nestled in the trees on a quiet, serene, and private cove. Enjoy stunning sunsets across the lake from the screened-in porch, the second level of the dock, or a hammock. Swim directly off the dock or float on a provided tube or noodle. Cast your line right off the dock for year-round fishing. Unwind and challenge your friends in the gameroom. With three levels, each with its own bathroom, this house is perfect for families, 3-4 couples, or a group of friends.

The main level has cathedral ceilings with a large stone fireplace The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to cook a feast - from cast iron skillets and baking pans to a waffle maker. Relax on the sectional sofa while watching the 65-in Roku 4K HD TV or eat dinner around the handmade dining room table. Pick out your favorite board game from the 45 available. The Master bedroom is also on the main level with an en suite bathroom and a California King mattress. The large screened-in porch looks out on the lake and includes a hammock, rocking chairs, and a large table for meals.

The ground floor game room features an arcade machine with 20k games, darts, Bubble Hockey, life-size tic-tac-toe, Sega Genesis Mini and a Roku HD TV. The large bar provides you with a sink, and a second fridge. Step outside and play some cornhole while you throw some steaks on the grill. The bedroom on this level has a queen and twin memory foam mattresses and it's own bathroom.

Head to the third floor, where the upper bedroom has a queen memory foam mattress and a full bath with a skylight. The loft, with queen and twin beds, functions as a 4th, open-air, bedroom. Several fold-out mattresses are available if needed for additional sleeping flexibility.

Indoor Entertainment: fireplace, arcade machine, darts, bubble hockey, Sega Genesis Mini, board & party games, YouTubeTV.

Outdoor Entertainment: firepit, cornole, fishing, kayaks (2), jumping & swimming off the dock, tubes, pool noodles, large floating pad.

Blue Springs Marina (10 mins) rents pontoon boats. Hornsby Hollow Campground (10 mins) rents single and tandem sit-on-top kayaks, 3 person canoes, stand-up boards, Paddle Wheeler commercial-grade paddle boats with canopies, swim decks, and ladders.

More than 20 hiking trails within a 1-hour drive. Hikes range from short walks to waterfalls and swimming holes to 10-15 mile hikes along the Cumberland Trail, Pocket Wilderness, or Laurel/Snow Falls trails.

This was a beautiful home in a great location with a wonderful view. The home was very well stocked and had lots of things to do. Games, kayaks, floats. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets, and pretty much anything you could think of. We enjoyed our stay very much.

My family and I had a truly lovely week away at Jon's lake house. Jon was a very responsive and helpful host. I enjoyed the hammocks and my 10-year old loved fishing right off the dock.

Like living in a tree house!

It is a wonderful layout for adults and a couple toddlers. The huge screen porch with massive dining table, rockers, hammock and more gave us room to spread out and eat, talk, play games and even work for those who work remotely. The view never gets old.We enjoyed the swimming every day, kayaks and floats gave all ages easy activities on the water. Comfy beds called to us after the busy, sunny days.

Great stay

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Property was as listed and Jonathan very responsive, even assisting with forgotten items after we had left, etc. Highly recommend and will consider again for a stay when back on Watts Bar/Ten Mile.

Very Relaxing

We had a short stay while in the area looking to purchase. It was so peaceful sitting on the dock watching herons fish and birds swooping down getting fish. We really enjoyed our time there. The host was excellent! He allowed us to check in early and we really appreciated that after traveling for days in our little RV to get there.

Very Quiet Lake House

Excellent lake home property on Watts Bar Lake for a family of six. Basement level has a bedroom with two beds and a full bathroom. Main level has the master with master bath. Upper level has a bedroom plus two beds in the loft. We thought the loft might be very warm but it was great.It’s located in a very quiet cove with easy access to the main part of the lake. We rented a boat for a few days and didn’t have any trouble securing it to the dock. There are kayaks, floats, noodles, and life jackets provided by the host. Swimming off the dock was great. The screened porch was wonderful, especially with the overhead fans.It’s very secluded with lots of twists and turns to get there. Jon was very easy to work with and had zero problems. Wonderful home and host.

Perfect Lake Getaway

This is a lovely, lakefront property. Clean, comfy and perfect for our small family but would love to come back with a group! Everything you could need is there - water toys, indoor games, grill and a large screened-porch to eat meals or lay in a hammock and read. Owner is very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Already planning when we can return!

Beautiful location

We stayed at this lake house on Watts Bar for a week and loved it! You cannot beat the location of this lake house in a private little cove. Amazing sunsets, owner provided kayaks, large screened in deck with corn hole and large table. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views. The deck is large and the second level is great for hanging for morning coffee or a cold beverage. The house itself is well stocked with everything you need to make meals and entertain.

Lake House

This was our second time staying at this property. We absolutely love everything this home has to offer. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, baking ware, crockpot toaster, coffee pot, cups, coffee cups, wine glasses, lots of spices letftover from previous guest as well as condiments. The main floor living space is very accommodating with a large couch fireplace and tv. There is also a large dinning table as well as a huge table on the porch off the main floor (this is where we enjoyed most our meals). The main floor master bedroom has a king size bed full bath and large closet. There is also a twins size mattress our little one slept on. The upstairs loft has a bedroom with queen bed as well as another queen and twin bed up in the open area of the loft as well as full bath. The downstairs basement has a full bath with laundry and a room with two twins beds. It also has a bar area with second fridge stove and large bar top. The dock is large with a second story perfect for sitting and and enjoying the sun. We where able to dock two boats and 3 jet skis. The dock is located in its own private cove that was perfect for floating and gave of lots of time in the water. Just a quick 5 min boat ride is a restaurant open Thursday-Sunday 4pm. The owner Jon is very friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful views of the lake, but lots of steps!

Beautiful property right on watts bar lake. There are plenty of sleeping spaces and the home is stocked with everything needed for a weeks stay. The owner was great and even offered early check-in (which we did not need). The biggest issue we had with the home is the number of stairs and the incredibly steep driveway. The home is not toddler friendly due to the very steep steps and widely spaced railings around the upstairs loft and staircases. The house is very old and dated, but I knew that from the pictures and a previous reviewer. However, I didn’t expect the stairs up to the main living space to be so unstable. The swim platform/and dock are are in need of repair and/or replacement. We were very concerned for our grandchildren getting splinters from all the weathered wood. The driveway was so steep we didn’t think we could back our boat down to the flat surface. We managed but the trailer did scrape. We had 3 adults in their 50’s who had a very difficult time climbing all the stairs into the home and up/down to the bedrooms. I wish I had known before renting this property.

Great Lakehouse Getaway

Great experience staying at this house. Everything was as expected and then some. King bedroom is on main level with bathroom attached. Upper level has queen bedroom and open loft w/2 beds. Bathroom is in between with access from both areas. Lower level has rec room, kitchen and a separate bedroom with 2 beds which worked well for other family with small kids. Plenty of extra mattresses, linens & towels. Main kitchen is fully stocked. Loads of pots & pans, appliances like waffle/popcorn maker, slow cooker, etc.. Lots of basic pantry staples; seasonings, hot sauces, coffee, sugar, etc.. and paper products; tp, paper towels, kleenex, etc.. Bring paper plates and plastic silverware for those times you dont plan on using the dishes. Enough space to spread out in & out. Lots of board games, foosball, darts, bags. video games. Great dock for fishing & boating. The cove was such a calm & peaceful place. Was able to try the kayaks when the weather warmed up. Would come back again to be able to swim and use other water toys. There are lots of stairs, it is 3 stories after all, but the stairs to the dock were well thought out with plenty of landings and shorter steps. Not like the steep straight down kind we saw elsewhere. Be aware that the driveway is steep . We got around this by loading/unloading gear and grandparents at the top when needed. Day trips to fall creek falls state park with waterfalls, underground lake in a cave, and pigeon forge/gatlinberg very doable drive within 2 hours. Just be sure to get out early if your bothered by driving in the dark on remote roads on the way back.
