Experience living on 4 acres in the Sonoran Desert. Enjoy the most amazing sunrises and sunsets you have ever seen. Sit on the covered 500 sq. ft patio and look out at the panoramic view of the Catalina and Rincon mountains. Enjoy bird watching, javelina, coyotes, mule deer and bobcats strolling through the backyard with Great Horned owls perching on the roof at sunrise and sunset. Saguaro National East Monument is right down the street with great biking and hiking trails. Tanque Verde Guest Ranch is minutes away and a must visit while you are here!!
The 1100 sq. ft. apartment is charming and cozy. The bedroom has a memory foam mattress with high count cotton sheets. The kitchen is fully equipped with all your gourmet cooking needs. There is a washer/dryer that is separated in the computer room.
The apartment is 10 minutes to all amenities, grocery stores, restaurants, movie theaters, 49's golf country club and shopping. You can access interstate I10 which is 25 minutes away, where you can go to Tubac, Nogalas, Patagonia and the wine vineyards. Downtown and La Encantada are 25 minutes away, where you can enjoy great dining and shopping.
Our property is unique because you can experience living in the desert and all amenities are 10 minutes away.

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful stay at Charlene and David’s. The house is decorated beautifully with all the amenities of home and then some. The Mountain View’s were breathtaking morning and night!! Thank you for a great stay.

Loved the location -- out in the desert near entrance to Saguaro Natl Park; but supermarket is nearby. The view of the Catalinas from the large patio was amazing! Host was wonderful, easily accessible, beyond helpful! For me, the rooms were a bit dark, as this is a walk-out basement (host lives upstairs). However, in hot weather, it could be pleasantly cool.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS FULFILLED!

Staying at Charlene and David's place made for a wonderful get-away. And they even arranged for a whole month of perfect weather!! They were great hosts, responding to our every need.

Excellent vacation home

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Tucson! The home was just as pictured and described, although no picture can really do justice to the view of the Santa Catalina mountains. There were great bike rides right from the house, many nearby disc golf courses, and plenty of things to do in Tucson and the surrounding area. We were there for a month and didn't get to everything on our list. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

Charming unit with desert view. Bobcat the first morning, Gambel’s quail everyday! Internet wasn’t robust enough for zoom calls. Char and David were great!

We loved the views from the patio & the hummingbirds! Charlene & David we’re very helpful & fun to talk with. Charlene even helped me find a dentist to talk with. We had a great time staying at their lovely home.

Surpassed our expectations

We had such a wonderful experience at Char and Dave’s VRBO. It is so private, with beautiful views of the mountains and the yard is your personal desert retreat. Each day we were entertained by the Gambril quails and hummingbirds as they visited the feeders. We were lucky enough to have seen a bobcat, hawks and a javelina family during our stay as well. Although you’ll feel like you are in the middle of the desert there is a grocery store less than 10 minutes away. Restaurants are also within 30 minutes or less. You can get to Sugauro East National Park within 10 minutes. We like to hike and it was great to have many hikes to choose from—some in the park and some an hour or so away in Oro Valley or Sabina Canyon. Char has a wealth of information about things to do and places to eat. We can’t wait to come back!

Great week in Tucson

Friendly, knowledgeable hosts who provided wonderful recommendations for food and sightseeing and Tucson life. Apartment was comfortable, well equipped with a beautiful patio, yard and view. Close to hiking, groceries and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back.

Fabulous vacation in Tucson

The property is fabulous and looks exactly like the pictures. This was our first experience with VRBO and we rate is AAA++. Charlene was friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this unique property !

My husband and I are implants from California and New York.. We have been here for 42 years and would never leave. There is so much to do in Tucson and the weather is great!! We love the culture, the food and most of all the desert.

Our property is unique because we live on 4 acres in the Sonoran desert and you can enjoy the experience of all the wildlife and vegetation right out your back door. Our neighbors are all on 4 acres. The only people you will see are our neighbors riding horses going up the road. or walking their dogs.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Saguaro East National Park is right down the road, your can drive up to Mt. Lemmon in the Catalina Mts in about 40 minutes. Hiking is right down the street and road biking and mountain biking is right out the back door. 5 minutes down the road is a 18 hole golf coarse at the 49'rs County Club. Great restaurants right down the street.
