"Rincon" is Poolside and Across the Street from the Beach!

Rincon is located at one of North Padre Island's newest resorts, Padre Beach View. This resort is located across the street from Whitecap beach. Rincon is a corner unit and is one of only 5 units on the pool.

The first floor is an open concept living room, dining area and kitchen with oversized granite island. Half bath on first floor. Full size washer and dryer on first floor. All 3 bedrooms are located upstairs along with a loft area. Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a balcony that has an AMAZING view of the beach. One guest bedroom also has a balcony that overlooks the pool. There is a TV in every bedroom, in the loft area and in the living room. Cable and wifi are provided. There is an L shaped patio outside that wraps around the unit. One side of the patio faces the pool. There are 2 picnic tables and plenty of chairs on the patio.

The large salt water communal pool is heated during the winter. One side of the pool is a shallow shelf so the kids or adults can lounge in the water. Sit in the shade at one of the picnic tables or in a chair around the pool deck. Charcoal bar b que pits are available around the pool area. The beach is right across the street, an easy walk. This unit has 2 reserved parking spaces.

Spring Break 2025

We had a great spring break with the use of the heated pool and close access to beaches. We were able to visit great places like the Texas State Aquarium, USS Lexington, and Port Aransas. Kitchen was stocked with appropriate items to cook all our meals and we used the grill in the pool area for many meals. My kids want to visit again soon!

Loved Rincon!

Rincon was an amazing Spring Break retreat! A solid visit again! note: when we checked in we noted 2 items:1: one of the light bulbs above the dining room table was burned out. 2: the doors facing the pool (right side facing the pool towards the bottom on the outside had a crack in the glass)These items were like this when we arrived and wanted to bring to your attention. Wonderful cisit and location! A solid 10 out of 10!

Great space

We enjoyed our stay at Rincon; the space is nice and actually had enough seating for our group of 8 (so many listings say they can sleep a lot of people and then only have seating for half that number!). The proximity to the beach is great; we chose to take our car on the beach and we had several options within a 2 minute drive, as well as a public parking lot a block or so away. The light on the stairs was burnt out and Randy was very prompt in coming to fix it. We would stay here again!

Memorial Day Last Minute Vacation

The location of this property was fabulous! The linens and towels were are all clean and fresh. The only negative I have is that it needs a good cleaning (floors/furniture). That being said, I would definitely recommend this place. The pool is right out the backdoor and the beach out the other.

Great location

Great end unit condo with two balconies providing gulf views plus a balcony and patio overlooking the heated pool and pool area with shower, bathroom, picnic tables and three charcoal grills built in for community use. A few small issues were quickly corrected by the management and owner. 👍

Amazing location

Our family of 7 adults and one teenager had an amazing stay. The poolside location of the unit and the ease of beach access made our stay perfect. Definitely out new go to rental. We love Rincon.

You’re paying for the view

The only thing we enjoyed about this place was the view! Easy access to beach and pool. The view from the balcony was great. However it needs major upgrades. Deep cleaning. New furniture. Had issues with tvs and controllers. The beds were extremely noisey. The futon is useless if you plan to use it to sleep. When we arrived the kitchen counters were sticky and there was trash behind toilets and under the beds.

Family fun at the beach

Great location, spacious common areas, private porches, well stocked kitchen with dishes glasses pans etc, and comfortable sleeping. Our family definately book again next year.

Great 3 bedroom!!

We had such a great time and the condo was perfect! It felt like the pool was in our backyard, super convenient to just walk out the back door to jump in. A condo that actually looks as nice in person as it does in the photos!!

Rincon

We decided to take a last summer trip and celebrate my sons 21st birthday. Rincon was an awesome place location to pool was wonderful for the kids. Place was clean and well stocked. The only negative was the parking, it’s far from the unit. Other than that everything was amazing and we will definitely be booking again in the future.

Needs some updating

No sharp knives. Felt kitchen was not very stocked for those of us who want to cook. Need 2 bath towels/person if only adults. Provide a Weber. The grills around pool really sucked.

DISAPPOINTING - 4TH

The description of the property "Rincon" is not a true description. Description of location not totally correct. Yes, it is across from the beach, however, you could not reach the beach directly. The street is very busy with constant traffic noise. In order to reach the beach it would be very difficult to walk & carry your beach accessories. A motorized vehicle is required. Secondly, rules for the use of the pool are not enforced. For 2 nights of our stay, our family was unable to sleep due to partying in the pool & surrounding area till 1:30am. The 2nd night a complaint was made to management. Shower soap, Kleenex, dish soap (limited), hand soap was also limited. Rental cost I feel is too expensive. Upon our return home my husband lost his ring & we placed several calls to management & received no return call. On several occasions we attempted to watch TV, however, we found it difficult to operate. Very frustrating. If you want a place to relax & enjoy the sounds of the waves this is NOT the property to rent.

Great location!

Great location just a small walk from the beach. It was very windy during our stay and not too hot but we found plenty to do. We read the pool is heated during the winter. It would have been a bonus if it was heated during spring break. I think this was the best place to rent as it had a view of the pool and beach from the second bedroom and a view of the ocean from the master. If you open the door you can hear (and see) the water which I love! Very nice and clean property. Had all the basics then some. We rented a golf cart up the street which was great for getting around locally. We went to the bar and grill called the boathouse a couple times which is very close and they had some fun games like pool, big connect 4, big Jenga and had really good food. We drove over to Corpus Christi also and saw the aquarium and the USS Lexington which was pretty cool. Great communication with property manager.

DIRTY & LATE CHECK IN! FILTHY RENTAL! DIRTY! DO NOT BOOK!

This was the worse property I have stayed at. I arrived at 4pm (check in time) had to wait 30mins due to the "cleaning lady" not being done cleaning the rental. Checked in and was completely taken back by how dirty the rental was. The floors were not swept. Rugs were not vacuumed dishes were left running in the dish washer from the "cleaning lady that did not clean" Sofas were wet due to the "cleaning lady" drenching the cushions in Febreze. Windows and mirrors were dirty. Inside cabinets were dirty. I have pictures to prove this overall just horrible. Oh wait it gets way better! I messaged the owner to let him know of the issues and this was his response "I am very sorry about your experience. This is definitely not the norm. The previous guests did not follow any of our check out instructions and left the place in very bad shape so it took the cleaner much longer than normal to get the place done. I agree check in time is 4 pm and the place should have been ready for you on time but unfortunately sometimes things outside of our control do occur and we have to do the best we can. The cleaning lady was supposed to clean 2 units between check out time and check in time that day and because this unit was left in such bad shape we had to schedule a different cleaner to clean the other unit. She estimated that she would have enough time to get this place ready by check in time if she only did this one unit but obviously she was mistaken. I would have been more than happy to send the cleaner back or take care of anything that wasn't done correctly myself while you guys were out of the unit so as not to bother you if you had let us know about these issues the day you arrived like we ask of all our guests in our check in instructions. We try our best to give all our guests a great experience but we understand our cleaning people are only human and mistakes can happen and things can get overlooked sometimes but we are always happy to take care of any issues our guests have. Again, I sincerely apologize your experience was not up to our usual standards." So I the retee would need to inform him the "owner" of the dirty conditions when he knew way in advance the home would be dirty and I wouldn't be able to check in on time? Makes no sense! As the owner you should have notified me prior to my arrival. Not have allowed me to loose 30 mins of time and be left in dirty rental. Poor customer service, horrible experience overall. Do not book here!

Great Location, Amenities, and Size

You can walk to the beach in about 10 minutes (probably less, we didn't walk with all the kids) or drive in to the beach or the South Jetty in 5 minutes. Multiple restaurants are a close drive away. We had 4 adults and 5 children stay here. We all had plenty of space to eat and sleep. We loved the layout and the pool. There were only two parking spots reserved but plenty of street parking.
