Private each on Lake Winnie

We enjoyed our stay at this location. My wife and I came with our toddler and my elderly parents. This comfy home had everything you need for a lake side vacation. A modern bathroom with plenty of towels. The kitchen was fully stock with appliances and large cooking pots and pans. We cooked all our meals during our stay. In the day time, we enjoyed our very own private beach and large dock. This was the main reason we chose the location. We did not have lug a ton of things back and forth to enjoy the beach. The beach and lake was our backyard. The owners let us borrow their paddle boards and kayaks and we got to explore different areas of the lake. The lake area was situated in a nice quiet area. Not a ton of large boats passing by. We had total privacy, but the owners were onsite to help us where never needed. Highly recommend this place if you want your own private getaway on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Lake fun & knock-out sunsets made for a memorable vacation!

Our family had a tremendous 2-week vacation in this rental! The house is very Lake Winni' -an updated summer home with pine-panel kitchen cupboards, new bathroom and a big, comfortable family room, an almost-outdoors dining room with a view and lots of opportunities for fun in the water. We , the 3 generations of our small tribe, played yard games (on a *flat* green lawn!), swam to the owners' lily pad anchored in the swimming area off the dock, splashed around in the sandy beach they've made, and hung out talking while we searched the sky for shooting stars at night. Found some! :-) Their dock is spacious, partially concrete and has wooden stairs that allow a slow, safe descent into the crystal clear and cool lake water. The hosts provided plenty of comfortable seating there where we could see the youngsters swim and explore the lake bottom with their snorkels & goggles. After supper we delighted in the sunsets...the view looked westward, the real deal! They provided a 2-seater kayak and 3 paddle boards for our use which the kids all got to get out on especially when the bay was quiet in the mornings...no big, charging speed boats coming form the neighboring docks. This is a great location. The town of Gilford Public Beach is very nearby; just lots of sandy beach and the sounds of happy kids...no marina with those occasionally choking fumes, thank goodness! The kitchen is well-equipped with good quality, big pots and generous frying pans for the inevitable big family breakfasts & dinners cooked. The grill is kept in wonderful shape with lots of BBQ tools on hand. Katie & Bruce invited us to partake of their herbal garden which we did. It was such a wonderful bonus to just go outside and clip fresh herbs for an omelet! Her flower beds and pots are beautiful, too. She really set the New England mood as we arrived to hydrangeas in 2 vases as well. Thank you, Katie & Bruce for sharing your comfortable, perfect-for-a-family space with our family. We will always remember the fun we had here.

Perfect Lake House Experience

Bruce and Katie were such kind and generous hosts! They were both happy to be available for anything you may need, yet also respectful of your privacy and time as a family. Their home was the heart of our family vacation. The landscaped property was beautiful and the outdoor space offered different sitting areas to lounge in while taking in the amazing views! After fun days spent swimming and being on the water, we enjoyed dinners either out on the deck or in the screened in gazebo. We spent our nights on the dock relaxing while watching the sunset and stargazing. It was a fabulous week for our family lake house vacation making memories we will treasure for a lifetime.

When we are not boating on the lake we are flying a Teamlake Lake Amphibian . Bruce is the owner of Team Lake aircraft in Gilford, NH, and has over 45 years of water flying experience.
