This stone farmhouse, which has been in the family for seven generations, will charm you with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, featuring a 200 m² shaded terrace overlooking a 1-hectare meadow bordered by a stream with unobstructed views of the countryside, an adjoining garden with swings, a children’s playhouse, a picturesque covered terrace (calabert), and a large swimming pool with a diving board surrounded by lush greenery. South-facing.
A prime location surrounded by nature, yet not isolated, close to the supermarket and bakery, and just 5 km from the shopping center, movie theater, and all sports and cultural activities.
The house is located in a charming hamlet of typical Ardèche-style houses and right next to a greenway perfect for long walks or bike rides, numerous hikes—both short and long—and jogging....
Ideally located 2 km from the old village (supermarket, café, restaurant, hair salon, bakery...), greenway (cycling, walks...), and in an exceptional setting.
A region rich in sports activities, entertainment, and tourist and cultural sites, such as the Chauvet Cave, 15 km from the house.

What you SHOULD know and what is not made specifically clear in the advertisement:-the owners live in the same building. They are nice and discrete, however, their balcony overlooks the swimming pool and you can overhear them inhouse. So, it is not as private as suggested.-The wifi is very poor. The electrical socket range extender only has coverage in just 2 rooms and the network quality is extremely poor. So, if you anticipate to be partially working remotely (e.g. making video calls) or are traveling with data-hungry teenagers ;-), you will be in for a disappointment.-the adjacent D579 is busy and loud. Despite assurances in advance by the owners that the road was hardly audible, this was simply not true. At the swimming pool the road noise is very loud and at the terrace in front of the house the road noise is loud. So, it is certainly not as quite as suggested.-you will be handed out restrictive “house rules” upon check-in: the swimming pool may not be used after 7pm. If you are traveling with teenagers that start to come alive after sunset or you like to do an evening swim yourselves and if you would abide to these house rules, you will be in for a dissappointment.

Nous sommes desoles que vous ayez une experience aussi negative. Cependant, concernant le bruit de la route, vous etes les premiers hôtes en vous en plaindre. Pour ce qui est du wi-fi, comme je vous l'ai indiqué, le nombre tres important des personnes en Ardèche saturent les reseaux. Enfin, les horaires de la piscine sont donnés en accord avec le voisinage pour le respect du repos de chacun. Nous vous souhaitons un exellent sejour en montagne, Marie-Hélène

Bastide et espaces

Cette vieille Bastide est à usage familial avec une belle piscine profonde avec horaires à respecter ( fin 19 h ). Extérieur ombragé plaisant. Les équipements de cuisine et barbecue sont rudimentaires, Les literies et S.D.B sont correctes. Pas de wc au rez de chaussée, ni à la piscine qui est éloignée. Une douche solaire serait souhaitable. Les Hôtes discrets résident sur une aile du bâtiment (non indiqué sur le descriptif )

Bonjour, je vous remercie pour ce retour et nous sommes désolés que vous n'ayez pas été totalement satisfait par nos équipements de cuisine. En effet, avec 2 frigos, 2 lave-linge, 2 congélateurs, 1 cuisinière "piano", 1 micro-onde, 2 cafetières dont une Nespresso et de la vaisselle pour 24 personnes, nous ne savons pas trop comment apporter une amélioration.
