Home Away From Home

Charming and cozy three bedroom, two bath, all brick home located in a quiet neighborhood in Nixa, MO. You will enjoy the open floor-plan, four smart televisions with DirecTV/Netflix & fast WIFI. The kitchen is equipped with most essentials for cooking a meal if desired. Some spices & oils are made available, along with coffee, tea and a Welcome basket with a bottle of wine, bottled water, snacks and fresh fruit.
There are three bedrooms with queen size beds with mattress & pillow covers. The bathrooms are clean and inviting, with the Master having a jacuzzi tub. You will find toiletry necessities in case you forget yours.
Guests will have access to the entire home, other than the garage.
There is an inviting deck in the back, secluded and quiet, where you can relax and enjoy the scenery.
Occupancy maximum is 6 guests, which includes children 0-17 years of age.
Pets are not allowed in the home, and that includes support animals.

Spring Stay

We came for a wedding and wanted to stay near family and town if possible. The house was only 15 min from other family members and restaurants. The house is well cared for and has a nice deck to sit in the am. The bedrooms were very nice and the walk in closet was great for getting all of our wedding attire ready. We used the kitchen a little. It was nice and easy to get in the door and lock it as we were leaving.

Great stay!

A great house in which to gather! We had 5 family members stay here for a family wedding. So clean and close to all our events. Very comfortable and accommodating. Sherrie is easy to work with and she has thought of everything!

Quiet & cozy getaway with access to Branson and Springfield

The home was very well appointed and decorated, in a location within a stone's throw of Springfield and Branson, but just enough off the beaten path to find quiet respite while visiting family over the holiday season. The surrounding neighborhood was likewise quiet and well-kept.We especially enjoyed all of the tasteful holiday decorations as we were traveling over the Christmas season; it was a nice touch which really helped us feel at home.

A proper short term rental

Warm and friendly place to stay

When I opened the door, I immediately felt like I was home. My sister said, "I could move into this house. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The bedroom decor was very peaceful for sleeping, the main area of the house was truly "family" style, the patio was inviting for conversation. If this house is available when I go back I will try to reserve it.

Home away from home

The home was nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and bedding. The linens for the bedroom and bathroom are quality. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The location is access to Springfield. The owner is very responsive with all communication. We really enjoyed our time there.

Nice Quiet Neighborhood

The house was clean and very nice. It had a lot of kitchen essentials, including coffee and creamer, which was very nice. Good assortment of kitchen pans and perfect for a family brunch. The only complaint I have, I am assuming the owner can do nothing about. Their is a fenced of utility property behind the house, as well as several neighbors with a very bright light. The porch would be much more enjoyable at night without that light, but as I said nothing you can do about it (legally LOL) I recommend for nice quiet stay in a safe neighborhood.

Outstanding stay for 5 nights!

Sherrie deserves her outstanding host status. We couldn't have had a better stay. Her home was so comfortable and well appointed. We had everything we could have possibly needed including while snacks and easy to follow instructions.

Spring Break Trip

Our trip to Sherrie's Home Away from Home was amazing! Sherrie is a wonderful host. Sherrie is easy to communicate with and very responsive. Sherrie is thoughtful and considerate of others. Sherrie goes out her way to make sure her guests can have a stress free time. Her home brought our trip to a full circle after much planning and preparation to go there. Her place is very clean, comfy, in a friendly neighbor, not far from stores and restaurants. Everything was perfect! I will definitely book with her every time I visit Missouri. You will not be disappointed booking with her. She lets you know how thankful she is for booking with her. She even adds a bonus to show her gratitude with a thank you note and a bottle of wine! Great place for our holiday get away. Clean, all the amenities we needed and close to attractions. Welcoming home decorated for the holidays with a highly responsive host. If we pass through again, this will be our place to stay.

Wonderful home away from home!

Very clean, comfortable, and easy to settle in to. Great family neighborhood, conveniently located near all in town shopping, 10-15 minutes from everything. Great place for our family to come together to relax and visit each other over the holidays.

Loved everything about this property!

This house is spotless, comfortable, and stocked by the owner with so many necessities and comforts of home. It is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood that is close to everything you need in Nixa. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Our favorite thing about this house is the beautiful deck in the back yard. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. There are so many great amenities. We love this property and the owner!

Perfect!

There were four of us who stayed in this home; and there was nothing any one of us had a complaint about. Booking, access, communication with owner, all easy. House was exactly as stated in listing. It was clean and had extras that many other places don't provide, such as shampoo, laundry soap, paper towels, etc. Snacks left by owner were much appreciated. Instructions upon leaving were easy enough to follow and no problem. Owner was always quick to respond. Would recommend this home and look forward to returning when we visit family.
