Relax and enjoy our modern and bright guest suite, with its private entrance, off-street parking space, and deck overlooking beautiful Bedford Basin. Our lovely suite includes a queen size bed, sitting area with internet TV and free WiFi, its own kitchenette (with fridge and microwave) and a spacious bath (including hair dryer, W/D and iron & board). The suite is smoke-free, pet-free, and carpeting-free.
In quiet, established neighborhood overlooking Bedford Basin. Property backs to serene, thickly wooded parkland of Admiral Cove Park. Walking distance to waterfront and the heart of Bedford, where you'll find: the library, the fun landmark Chickenburger (Canada's oldest drive-in diner), two shopping malls that include a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, bookstore, drug store and grocers (including a Pete's Fine Foods - Nova Scotia's top gourmet grocery.) Located 15 minutes from Stanfield International Airport and 15 minutes to downtown Halifax.

Basinview

I was comfortable here in both comfort of suite and comfortable when it can to feeling secure. Within 5 to 10 min drive to anything you may need and 15 minutes walk you can see the beautiful scenic basin. Host provided items expected in hotel suite plus more. No issue in recommending to anyone unless you cannot do stairs.

A little bit quirky

The suite was located in a quiet neighborhood, so there are not many restaurants in the area and the few that do exist are quite a distance away. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and chuckled every time we climbed the VERY steep driveway because it was so quirky and interesting. What we were least impressed with was that the bed was a fold away bed, so when you lay down, your head is inset deep into the storage box for the bed. Quirky, but also a little disconcerting. The pillows on the bed included a faux fur pillow which has never been cleaned and should be thrown away. The bathroom silicon needs to be replaced, but the kitchen was well equipped. Fundamentally, it's a suite in a house in a quiet, safe neighborhood that could use some updating and maintenance, but we still enjoyed our stay and while we never met our host, they were very responsive when we needed to ask a question and for check-in.

A wonderful spot

I had the pleasure of staying with Amit for a whole month! It was great. You have everything you need in the unit, it is very stylish indeed. You also have tons of privacy and a great parking situation. Thank you Amit!
