The apartment was as advertised; clean and spacious. The check in process was smooth (the owners live downstairs) and they were a friendly and helpful resource. They were also accommodating of some itinerary changes in the weeks leading up to our stay.

Liked: hosts (very much), great communication, cleanliness and amenities. Loved having a coffee maker available!The location is very nice with the train stop close by as well as many fine restaurants. There is also a convenient grocery store nearby. Stayed two nights with family in October 2025. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Location

This rental was wonderfully located near the S-Bahn and groceries. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our time in Unterhaching. We had a easy time getting around by train and our hosts were very kind and helpful.

Excellent

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Marianne and Eberhard we very accommodating especially with a last minute change to number of guests. This apartment was very close to subway and nice restaurants. We loved our stay here.

Great Family Location

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating for us. Location was great, it was an easy walk to the train station and a short ride to the Marienplatz (center of Munich). The unit itself was clean, modern and had everything we needed for a great stay. Wonderful Property

Super clean. Very comfortable. Short, pleasant walk to restaurants and train. Host is very kind and helpful. Perfect for four adults on our trip to Octoberfest. Highly recommend.

An enjoyable time, thanks for having us

Everyone in the family was very helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean and a good amount of dishes. Easy Peary to get to Munich by train and you can buy multiple days. And every morning we were awakened with cheerful music from the birds. Glad we chose to stay here

Great Second Floor Home

Enjoyed our stay. Nice large open area with windows opening on 3 sides. Very comfortable. Main bedroom included 2 large open closets. Lots of space. The Schmidts are very nice and helpful. Short walk to the S Bahn. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hosts. Clean environment. Hot water for showers. Sunny and bright during the day, quiet and dark for restful sleep evenings. Nice supply of essentials - dishes, pots, glassware, utensils, towels. Hosts supplied coffee filters which is a welcome nicety and much appreciated. Grateful for the peaceful neighborhood. Literally 5 minute walk to train - 20 minutes to Munich. Close to several grocery stores and local restaurants. Be sure to try Mythos Greek restaurant, Ganesha India restaurant and Trattoria Pizzeria da Salvino - all very good and a nice break from the sausages!!

Unterhaching stay

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and there was a lot of space for our small family of 3. We were looking for a place near enough to Munich to visit the sights, but quieter and more low key. This place definitely fit the bill! The house was close to S-bahn station, and it was easy to navigate into the city. There were stores and restaurants around the corner on the main street that were easy to walk to. My husband was able to go on a couple of bike rides and found great routes nearby. I definitely recommend if you are like us and value quiet neighborhoods and don't mind short commutes into the city.

Quaint apartment in quiet neighborhood

From the moment we arrived we felt at home in this spacious but cozy apartment, over looking the trees of the quiet neighborhood, with the sound of birds and distant church bells in the air! Our family of five slept comfortably, with an added mattress available in the loft bedroom on the upper floor. The whole place was clean; the well equipped kitchen and bathroom spotless. All windows open, which is useful for letting fresh air in. It is a short 10 minute walk to the Unterhaching train station, and only 20 minute ride on the S3 line to Munich center. Our hosts were very warm, gracious, and welcoming, even giving us an anniversary gift. We would definitely stay here again if given the chance!

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, die einem abends Ruhe gibt, wenn man den ganzen Tag in München unterwegs war. Das obere Schlafzimmer unterm Dach wird sehr warm. Witterungsbedingt konnte ich die Fenster nicht durchgehend geöffnet lassen, was dort aber nötig ist, um schlafen zu können.

Eine super Ferienwohnung um München zu erkunden

Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr ruhig und doch gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Haltestellen für die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel etc. Das Vermieterehepaar ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Kontakt vorab war sehr unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist schön groß und war auch sehr gut temperiert (Herbst). Das Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss hat leider keine Tür und wäre für große Erwachsene ungünstig. Für unsere Jungs war es aber kein Problem. Die Küche ist ausgestattet für 4 Personen, wodurch bei uns immer ein Set gefehlt hat. Vielleicht wäre es möglich, ein paar Teller/ Gläser/ Besteck dazu zu geben? Somit wäre auch bei Belegung von 5 Personen genug vorhanden. Das Badezimmer ist recht geräumig. Man merkt ihm allerdings die paar Jahre Bestehen bereits an. Die Wohnung war sauber, man hatte auch die Möglichkeit mit dem Staubsauger zwischendurch zu reinigen. An einigen Stellen (z.B. Badezimmerwände oder Glasregal in der Küche) war es sehr staubig. Auch die Dachfenster waren beim Öffnen im Rahmen recht schmutzig. Aber das dürfte Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau sein. Denn wir haben unseren Urlaub in dieser Ferienwohnung sehr genossen und waren sehr zufrieden mit der Lage. Danke.

Schöne Wohnung ruhig und doch zentral

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es handelt sich um eine sehr schöne und ruhige Wohnung bei sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Vermietern. Die S Bahn ist in ca 5 Minuten erreichbar und auch ein Supermarkt und Restaurants sind in Fußweite. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolle Wohnung in schöner Lage

Wir haben schöne Tage in der Wohnung verbracht. Die Anbindung zur S-Bahn nach München ist super. Die Wohnung ist toll für Familien mit Kindern. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und jederzeit ansprechbar.

Bel emplacement

Accueil sympathique des hôtes, plein de renseignements pour nos visites. L'appartement est excentré de Munich mais le tram nous ramène a l'appartement en 20 minutes, après 9 minutes de marche. Les transports sont super. Épicerie tout près de la gare. Séjour bien agréable.
