The owner was very helpful and made great suggestions for hiking, restaurants and swimming. The entire apartment is well maintained, with lots of room for a family of 5. Everything is clean and it is very pleasant to enjoy the light in all the rooms, especially the dining room and living room. 8-minute walk from the train station, 40 minutes to get to MarienPlatz in Munich. Wonderful overall.

Beautiful, relaxing small town vibe

Such a wonderful stay in this small town, yet such a quick trip into the hustle and bustle of Munich and all it has to see. Owners are fantastic, super responsive and provide everything you need!

College graduation trip

We stayed for 5 nights and completely loved the location of this property. The village of Aying was perfect. There is a grocery store not too far away and the Aying Am Platzl restaurant was top notch. Our host was friendly and welcoming. It was easy to get into Munich for all of our sightseeing needs.

Very pleasant stay

The stay was great, very clean. We were disappointed to not be allowed to use the advertised fireplace, even though it was snowing. The under floor heating was effective but not cosy.

Great quiet location. Convenient to local resturants, grocery store and S Bahn.

Lovely country location. Nice, large apartment with everything you need for a quiet, comfortable stay. Convenient to main highways. Communication with Rupart was very quick. Would definitely stay here again! !stay here again.

Une maison de rêve!

Maison très bien conçue pour le groupe que nous étions : un couple et deux amis célibataires. Grande propreté, accueil chaleureux avec une foule de détails donnés par Rupert sur les choses à voir et à faire dans la région. Proximité de la gare très pratique pour visiter Munich.

Noch schöner als erwartet

Wir haben die 5 Nächte Ende 2023 in der wunderschönen Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Da wir 6 Erwachsene waren, war es optimal passend und die Wohnung auf zwei Ebenen ist sehr großzügig und biete genügend Platz. (Das kommt auf den Bildern gar nicht so raus) Und das wir sogar unser Elektroauto laden könnten, war das Sahnehäubchen. Wir werden sicher mal wieder kommen.

Perfect space

This clean and quiet house in the country was perfect for our week of visiting family in the Munich area. Rupert and Julia were fantastic hosts and provided great suggestions of things to do with our children. There was space for our rental car to be parked and easy access to the train to get into the city. Overall a fantastic stay!

Sehr schönes Haus mit vielen Fenstern und Tageslicht, gut ausgestattet, gepflegt und sauber. Verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Gute Anbindung nach München zum Stadtbummel und in die Umgebung zum Wandern. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Alles hat unkompliziert und gut funktioniert. Wir empfehlen das Haus sehr gerne weiter.

Wonderful stay with amazing hosts!

We had a wonderful stay! Rupert responded quickly, answered our questions and gave excellent recommendations. Rupert even met us at the train station at 11pm, helped us navigate purchasing train tickets for Oktoberfest and walked us to the VRBO. One suggestion would be to stop at a store for supplies before arriving in Dürrnhaar.

Großzügige,schöne Wohnung (Haus)

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in dem Haus. Familie Herz ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus bietet alles was man benötigt. Ein großer Minuspunkt ist allerdings die Straße. Diese ist sehr laut und auch nicht wenig befahren. Bei dem Schlafzimmer,welches direkt zur Straße zeigt,ist es unmöglich es offen zu lassen,auch nicht Nachts. Auch bei den Zimmern die nach hinten in den Garten zeigen,muss man ab spätestens um 5.30 Uhr die Fenster schließen. Landwirtschaftliche Maschinen donnern über die Straße mit weitaus mehr als 50 km/h. Auch nicht ungefährlich mit kleineren Kindern. Ansonsten hat das Haus eine perfekte Ausgangslage für Fahrten in die herrliche Umgebung.S-Bahn Anbindung ist top.
