Escape to the beach! Enjoy this townhome in the exclusive Monterey Dunes Colony. Half-way between Santa Cruz and Monterey (Pacific Grove, Carmel, Pebble Beach), an excellent home base for many activities on the California coast. Enjoy the quaint town of Moss Landing, just five minutes from the house. Our home is easily accessible from Highway 1. It's also within 10 minutes of major retailers like Target and Costco yet it feels light years away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Our internet is ideal for work/school/streaming. Amenities include heated pool (April-October), year-round hot tub, beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, pickleball and bocci ball courts. Our home has two oceanside decks plus a courtyard patio with a grill. Enjoy the wood burning fireplace while watching for whales in the winter. Rejuvenate yourself with long lazy beach days in the summer. Our hospitality can't be beat. Make use of the washer/dryer, Roku, stove, dishwasher and fridge. The kitchen is stocked with spices, oils, coffee and the like. Enjoy the many games and puzzles while watching the waves. Our home is a split-level floor plan so be prepared for several steps between each level. We have a Ring video doorbell. Finally, absolutely no pets per HOA rules.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Diamond and would absolutely book again. The home was clean, comfortable, and extremely well stocked. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging, and we really appreciated how much baby gear was already there - pack and play, high chair, and more. It made the trip so much easier.Everything we needed was provided, and it was clear the hosts are experienced and thoughtful. Check-in was easy, communication was smooth, and the house felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended, especially for families.

This was our first time staying at Blue Diamond and it absolutely did not disappoint. We have traveled the coast for years but have not stayed at a more peaceful and relaxing home like this one. The large house and short walk to the beach was perfect for our family of 6 to enjoy our summer break. This space is definitely one we will recommend to others and space we would absolutely visit again. Absolutely no complaints about the home and we greatly appreciate your attention to detail to make our stay memorable and comforting.

The place is clean and wonderful. It is how we imagined the experience was going to be. We can hear the ocean waves from the house, easy access to the beach. The place was well stocked. Everything that we need for our stay was all there. The owner responds fast. 100% we recommend this place.

We had a very relaxing stay in this multi-level beach home…When we wanted to go out, it was in the middle of Santa Cruz to the north and Carmel and Big Sur to the South….so it was easy to visit friends in both those areas, and also enjoy the sites and dining out. Coastal Bliss

Perfect space with a professional host in an uncrowded area on a beautiful coast. Three couples fit easily, and the sports courts, pool, and hot tub were all ours when we weren’t walking the shore. Really the most relaxing getaway.

Great weekend away with friends!

Gorgeous location. As we were so close to the beach, we went for a walk in the morning before returning for brunch. What a treat! Very well equipped kitchen, which made it a pleasure to cook together. And the combination of very comfortable bed and the sound of crashing ocean waves made for a great night of sleep. And Deb was just awesome with quick response to any question we had. Highly recommend!

Dunes and Ocean experience

We enjoyed our stay at Monterey Dunes. We were three couples, and the unit was ideal for us. Well stocked and enough space to comfortably accommodate the six of us. Great location with great views and access to the dunes and ocean. Recommend a visit to Elkhorn Slough Conservancy.

Clean, Comfortable Retreat on the Beach

Great Family Escape

House was well appointed with everything you would need for staying in place vacation. The beach was gorgeous and private. The views were spectacular and access to amenities were not too far. Would love to visit again. Hostess was very helpful. Our three generation family thoroughly enjoyed the area and house.

Sunsets on the beach

Location couldn’t be better. Enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace and watching the sunset. Bedrooms were all comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed. Everything was clean. Overall a great stay.

Amazing quiet location on the beach!

The property is great for a get-away.... gated, private, right on the beach, you can hear the waves at night, you have your own private bunny hopping through the bushes, and the house has all the amenities you need. Spices, oil, cooking utensils, flatware and dishware, and the beds are comfy. Each room has a bathroom which is an added plus. My nephew loved the puzzles that were available, and I hung out on the lounge chairs on the deck with a glass of vino. Couldn't be happier. Thank you!!!!

Amazing Stay at Blue Diamond !!!!

Our multi-generational family of four adults and two children had an amazing stay at the Blue Diamond. Communication with the host (Deb) was clear, timely and reliable. The house was spotless on arrival. The generous-sized beds were very comfortable. The view was fantastic and it was so pleasant to wake up each morning to the sounds of the sea. The hostess thought of our every need. The wagon to cart the kids and supplies to the pool, hot tub, club-house was much appreciated. Kitchen was well-stocked with spices, oil, sugar, etc.. I can't wait to return. Thank you Deb for sharing your beautiful slice of California Coast with my family. We made some great memories and can't wait to return soon.

Outstanding place to stay!

We came with our kids and grandkids for a weekend stay. The house backs on to the dunes and the beach. It was clean and well stocked. The beach, pool, hot tub and outdoor sporting areas are great! The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We’re already talking about returning.
