Village house with garden and pool
Large, very quiet house ideal for families, organized around an exterior north courtyard and a south terrace.
This village house is full of charm. It is perfectly suited to rest and relaxation for one or two families but also for friends who want to meet up, walk or work. The surrounding landscape is fabulous, nature is very present with a beautiful view of the Luberon mountains and the village and its castle. Shops are accessible in 5 minutes by foot.
By renovating it, we wanted to keep its soul while providing it with a lot of comfort.
These are two village houses which have been connected, part of which dates from the 17th century. The house is built on the rock visible from the north courtyard. it is organized on 3 levels. It was completely rehabilitated inside in 2021 to give it the necessary comfort. This house allows everyone to be very independent thanks to multiple spaces, interior and exterior, to work, read, sunbathe, walk and share meals. The living rooms, kitchen-living room-living room are very spacious. The bedrooms have their own bathroom, three of them have WCs.
The house is organized around several unique outdoor spaces. A courtyard with a fig tree accessible by a stone staircase from the living room and a south terrace sheltered from the sun by an acacia tree and located opposite the kitchen of the house. in these two spaces it is possible to have meals around large tables. The fig tree courtyard has an outdoor oven. It is possible to install a summer kitchen on the south terrace, plancha, barbecue.

The interior kitchen organized around the central stainless steel island allows meals to be prepared in a convivial manner. it is equipped with two ovens, induction hobs and gas fire. There is also a dishwasher and extra refrigerator near the large stainless steel sink.
A large fridge/freezer is located in the laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
The living room is a very quiet room, quite cool in summer.
The rooms are large, they allow you to rest and work.
The bathrooms adjoining the bedrooms, consisting of a sink, shower, WC (for 3 of them) and a sink and bathtub for the child's bedroom, allow great freedom of action in the house and great privacy for everyone.
One of the bedrooms is directly connected to the living room by a staircase.
The house follows the topography of the place.
The exterior path slopes continuously, and the interior spaces are connected to each other by a set of two steps between the living room and the lounge, and between the kitchen and the lounge. The laundry room is also accessible by two steps from the entrance. the sheepfold is one step lower from the entrance.
The bathrooms of bedrooms 1 and 3 are one step down from the bedroom.
it is therefore a house not suitable for wheelchairs and quite "sporty" for very elderly people (85 years and over).
On the other hand, it is safe for young children because the steps are wide, low and very visible. The two staircases are comfortable and meet safety standards.
The garden made up of olive trees and cypresses is independent of the house and accessible from the path and stairs which lead to the swimming pool. The swimming pool has a good size, 11mX5m, it is secured by a fence and located in the middle of nature.
