We live here in Rocky Point full time. Just a couple miles west of this home.

Managed & maintained by Kimberly & Barney Guethle- Beach Time Vacation Propertie Management. A CERTIFIED APPROVED Sanitized property licensed by the Government of Mexico & The City of Puerto Penasco Department of Health. Casa Cortez has met all the requirements of the Sanitation Manifesto Protocol developed for safety and health.

CASA Cortez offers a fully stocked kitchen for all your family fun cooking needs.
Dishes, utensils, small appliances, pots & pans readily available and user friendly.
Comfy beds, linens, and bath towels provided.

Please bring your own Beach Towels, Sand/Camp chairs and beach umbrellas for sitting at low tide or off the patios.

Our Patio furniture is abundant and comfortable . Relax on the patios or down on the tide line and watch the DOLPHINS go by.

Casa Cortez has 2.5 bathrooms👍 plus a Beach Shower.
We can sleep 6 in beds. Max capacity is 8 with approval by management. The posted rental rate is for 6 guests.
**Our regular nightly rate is for 6 guests or less guests. Accurate guest counts are necessary to meet the Beach House guidelines provided in the guest info attachments.

We are in the neighborhood of Playa Miramar just 25 minutes east of Rocky Point city center.
Less than 5 minutes from The Mayan Palace Golf resort and restaurants.
Just 1 row of private oceanfront homes. Gated, guarded, 24/7 security patrolled.

Playa Miramar is away from the crowds and noise of the resort areas.
Smooth sandy beaches, tide pools. Excellent swimming and sporting opportunities.
Plenty of seashells to find.

Gated parking and secure courtyard on your private lot. Safe to let your dogs out to do their business. Dog friendly beach as well. There is a pet accommodation fee that is charged per night.

Outstanding beach house! It is even better in person than the lovely pictures! We had a fantastic time! The entire house is well stocked, extremely clean, so cute and nicely decorated and sits right on the beach! It truly felt like being in our own beach house. We will go back!

Beautiful house on the beach with tons of shells deposited by the daily tides. House was very clean and had everything we needed to grill out and cook breakfast. Very private. Please make sure new renters receive driving instructions before coming. We had a mix-up, but was resolved easily and nicely. Thank you!

Wonderful guests that we rated as 5 star although they left to travel out of the USA without accessing the property map pin on Vrbo or saving the additional written driving directions we also provided. Although we helped them immediately, 4 star. I still recommend this family. They are excellent guests. 👍

The home itself was beautiful and just steps from the beach—truly a stunning location. It was also well-stocked with essential toiletries and extra blankets, which we really appreciated.However, we did run into a couple of concerns. The main issue was the location. It was not where the listing indicated (near Walmart), and instead of being about 5 minutes from the Malecón, it was closer to 30 minutes away. This placed us much farther from downtown Puerto Peñasco than expected, making it difficult to spend time with our family and friends during Easter as we had planned.Because of the distance and the misleading location details on Vrbo, we likely would not book this property again. Had we known how far it actually was, we would have chosen a different home for this trip.Also, Kim was upset that we had family over on Easter. It would have been nice of her to be understanding since the distance made it difficult for us to go back and forth each day to the center of Puerto Peñasco.

It is interesting that now a days guests leave bad reviews for issues that are their own faults. Example: booking a small home with the max occupancy of 8 guests. A home that can not allow big parties. Yet, the HOA guards called me in tne middle of the night to tell me there were approximately 30 people there and little kids climbing all over the walls in the dark. I called the guests to inquire about this. I was very polite. But yes, the guests broke the rental contract and did not follow the house rules. We did not charge them any damages for having 30 people on site. They checked an hour early and an hour late. We did not back charge them. They left the house very dirty. It took us almost 3 hours longer to clean. We did not back charge them for this either. As far as the distance to town. The guests were given the exact location, length of the drive, and driving directions right after they booked. They could have canceled then and got 100% refund. VRBO does not release exact locations until after guests book. This is for security purposes. This info is right there for guests to see when they are looking at homes to book. Now, if guests cause damage, extra costs, calls late a night from security guards, break several house rules and the contract, yet they give the property a bad review. A false review. This is sad.

Relaxing time on the beach

We absolutely loved our time at this fantastic beachfront home! It is such a quiet and beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle of town. The house is beautiful and very comfortable.

Beautiful home. Excellent views. The A/C units kept the house nice & cool. Loved the decor being beach & Spanish. Super dog friendly.The house is very well equipped. The kitchen has everything. Out of all the places we have stayed, this kitchen by far had more pots, pans, utensils, etc. Plenty of water jugs.Very private & relaxing. The only thing we didn’t like is how far away from store’s & restaurant.

Our stay was great! They had pretty much everything you need like laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, outdoor hose/shower w/ Ample kitchen supplies and towels too! The property felt very safe and it was very easy to find! We are definitely booking this casita again for our stay next time.

Perfect

This place was perfect. It was a home away from home, not just a house. Stocked with everything a person could need from towels to salt and pepper. If there is a detail they missed I did not come across it. The weather did not cooperate, but the house did not disappoint. Kim was the most amazing hostess from check in to check out. I can not wait to return to this secluded, oasis.

Great place on a beautiful sandy beach

The house was really nicely setup for guests. Lots of windows and 2 decks to watch the beach and all the wonderful birds. Very peaceful & quite. I would highly recommend for a family with kids or 2 couples wanting to get away and enjoy the sea of Cortez.

Nice place!

Beautiful house. Being right on the beach is amazing. The house has a well stocked kitchen. Nice and comfortable. It had AC and Wi-Fi, always a plus in Mexico. I'd definitely stay again.

Great Beach House

This was a great little home on the beach, with all of the needed items for a great stay. Only reason I gave a 4 on check in was due to a little mix up on directions but everything else was great, once I figure that out. Thanks for the wonderful week.

After seeing so many vacation rentals (bad & worse)…. Casa Cortez was by far our family favorite! The property is beautifully maintained and clean! The decor and inside amenities are top notch! - NOT garage sale filler junk (like others). The kitchen drawers are organized and filled with matching quality kitchenware. -not abused mix-match like others. The location is amazingly quiet and safe. Very easy check-in and immediate response to any questions. We will definitely be back! And feel confident to share this with family & friends! Very well ran. Felt like a luxury hotel & our home within minutes!

This was the most beautiful house we have ever stayed at. We loved the location and the home had everything you would need for a very relaxing vacation. Very clean and super cute. We enjoyed the patio the most. Morning coffee and relaxing sunsets were the best. We will definitely be returning again. I give this place 5 stars. :)

Absolutely lovely

We loved our stay here so much! The house was so charming my daughters kept saying they wished it was our house. There were many breakable decorations, so with a 2 year old that made me a little nervous but we had no issues. The beach was as expected. I personally like staying somewhere like this more than in a resort hotel.
