We have owned the log home listed at www.vrbo.com/672 since 1996 and purchased this adjacent property in 2020. We make every effort to furnish both properties with furniture, kitchenware and amenities that set our properties apart from other rentals -- you will truly feel as if you are a guest in a high-end home and not just a "renter" in another rental property. We strive to make your visit truly memorable and are happy to provide recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, fishing, biking, rental gear, etc. We take pride in being available and responsive to any questions or needs you might have. The Blue River Chalet is close to the town of Breckenridge yet located in a private setting where you are secluded and protected from the noise and bustle of town. Surrounded by Aspen and Evergreen trees with mountain views you will feel far away, but with a 8-10 minute drive you will find yourself in the world class resort of Breckenridge which offers some of Colorado's best skiing, fabulous restaurants, excellent shopping, spas, nightlife and more. Winter activities include x-country skiing and snowshoeing, terrain parks, snowmobiling, dog sled rides, and of course world-class skiing for all ability levels. Copper Mountain, Keystone and A-Basin are all within 30 minutes and Vail is only a 50-minute drive. If you are looking for a great summer escape, Breckenridge and Summit County offer some of the best hiking trails, mountain biking, fishing and rafting in Colorado, The Breckenridge Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is only 15 minutes away. If boating, sailing or stand up paddle boards are your thing, Lake Dillon is only 20 minutes away.
The Blue River Chalet offers a true Colorado log cabin experience! This property is furnished as if it were your own home, not a rental property. Look closely at the furniture and details as you will find few other rental properties like this one!

For a truly unique experience, a canvas curtain can be drawn to keep in the warmth and create a super cozy environment. You won't find this at other properties!
