Le Cottage du Cerf-Gîte-Ensuite with Shower

This large cottage offers on 85 m² an entrance with storage buffet, a large living room, with living room, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. 1 first bedroom with bed of 140 and a large bathroom with walk-in shower of 2 m, washing machine and dryer. A second bedroom equipped with either a double bed of 160 or 2 beds of 80 and a convertible bench, for 2 people. This room has its own bathroom with a large shower, a sink and a toilet, it also has a French window that overlooks the courtyard.
The quiet and peaceful atmosphere of this property immediately attracted us for its possibility of creating a guest house in this traditionally renovated old wine farm, with all modern comforts. Within the 'Valley of the Kings', these guest rooms offer a preferential location for the discovery of the heritage of this beautiful region. After your days of visiting the most prestigious castles of the Loire and Cher valleys, your walk along rivers, or back from the Beauval ZOO, you can relax in the heated pool!

Perfect break in a perfect location

One of the nicest places I have stayed. Patrick and Sylvie are wonderful hosts welcoming you into their home. A lovely location to explore the area or relax in comfort. Will definitely be visiting again

Wonderful

Very clean and well appointed. Patrick and Sylvie were great hosts. Close to everything and the Boucherie,boulangerie and Patessirie were right up the hill by the church.

Everything was as advertised and the owners, Patrick and Sylvie, were very accommodating and very accessible hosts. We had everything that we needed. Unfortunately for us, it was too cool to use the nice pool on the grounds.

Totale Erholung

Wir haben die Zeit in Francueil sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft kannten wir ja bereits, da wir 2022 bereits zwei Wochen Urlaub dort gemacht haben. Der Pool war eine herrliche Abkühlung. Die Umgebung ist perfekt für geschichtsinteressierte Leute, da viele Schlösser (auch kleinere) in unmittelbarer Nähe sind. Sylvie und Patrick sind tolle Gastgeber. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in der Nähe der Schlösser der Loire

Das Ferienhaus ist Teil einer ruhig gelegenen Hofanlage im Örtchen Francueil, unweit des Flusses Cher. Ein Bäcker und eine Superette mit Metzger finden sich fußläufig im Dorf. Die Gastgeber Sylvie und Patrick (er spricht ein wenig Englisch) sind super freundlich und obwohl sie mit auf dem Grundstück wohnen, nimmt man sie eigentlich nicht wahr, ausser es gibt ein Problem - dann wird dieses umgehend gelöst. Der Pool ist herrlich, man teilt ihn sich aber mit den wechselnden Gästen der ebenfalls vermieteten zwei Chambres d'hôtes auf dem Gelände, was sich aber unkompliziert gestaltet. Das Haus ist bestens und geschmackvoll ausgestattet und war das bisher sauberste Ferienhaus, das ich gesehen habe in 30 Jahren. TV-Sender gibt es nur in französisch, das WLAN lässt aber Streaming über Tablett oder AppleTV gut zu. Wir haben unsere zwei Wochen sehr genossen und wurden zum Abschied sogar noch auf einen Apéro auf der Terrasse eingeladen. Als Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch der vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten des Loiretals kann man das Haus nur empfehlen.

Parfait !!!

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce gîte. Décoration avec goût, bien équipé et propre avec une très bonne literie. Le gîte est à proximité de plusieurs châteaux, pour les visites c'est un vrai plus. Encore merci à Patrick et Sylvie pour leur gentillesse et disponibilité.

Séjour très agréable

Amazing Gite!

Sylvia and Patrick were wonderful to work with. They provided information on shops, restaurants and activities. The property was immaculate and well equipped. It was the perfect location to explore Loire chateaus. Their pool was clean and inviting. What a treat on a hot day after exploring the local sites. We will recommend this property to friends and would stay here again.

Fantastic location and lovely cottage.

The cottage ticked all the boxes. Espacially the swimmingpool was devine! For grocery’s and attractions you’re in need of a car, the nearest shop is within walking distance but has a streep hill not suitable for the elderly or disabled.

Franceuil was wonderful

The stay here was excellent. The only thing missing was a fan. It was so very hot the week of our stay a fan, especially in the bedroom at night would have made all the difference. Our hosts were very hospitable We would recommend a stay here.
