Traveled from CA. Originally from Belvidere. Staying here made it feel like home. Rhonda and Angel were wonderful hosts, made the process easy and were always available. The home was very clean and spacious, and lots of natural light! Quiet and convenient location too! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay around the Rockford/Belvidere area.

I was real nice. It had anything I needed. Neighbor hood was quiet. I even parked in the garage.

It was very nice. Real close to my son's homes. I will stay again when I go visit my son's and there wives.

Father's 90th Birthday Celebration

Thanks to VRBO for helping me find the property that was perfect for my 5 day trip to IL from the West Coast. Everything went smoothly and solved an issue I had in finding accommodations near DeKalb, IL to allow me to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday party. Great place to stay.

There was more than enough room for our family of 6 people. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament nearby. The host was responsive, the house was clean and had everything we needed.

Suggestions

House nice sized and good location. More furniture in upper living room would be nice. Beds not so low to the ground it’s hard to get in and out of them. Mattress toppers to add some cushion.

We are three sisters who meet for the weekend several times throughout the year. This house was spacious, clean, and well stocked for cooking. The town is small and rural but has a Walmart and other necessary retailers. The neighborhood is lovely and is sometimes quiet and peaceful, but this property backs up to a working farm/elevator and heavy equipment can be quite noisy at times. In spite of that the back deck is large and nice to relax on. This property will probably become our go-to house going forward. We do recommend it.
